What's On Your Nightstand

No safeties to fumble, no stovepipes, no partially seated magazine..etc. And if six doesn't do the job, ten more probably isn't gonna help.

Had my Sr9c with extended 17 round magazine but bought an SD9VE last spring and now that on the nightstand. The Ruger has a thumb safety and a pretty light trigger. The S&W has no safety but a heavier trigger. In a stressful situation having to deal with a safety and then a light trigger doesn't seem to be the best idea. Also have a spare magazine, flashlight and a Kershaw assisted opening knife.

I've been watching this occasionally, but since I don't have a nigh stand I haven't bothered to reply.
However I do have a chair setting beside my bed so maby that will suffice?
IF so, laying on that chair is a MAC 10, 9mm, with a suppressor on the end of it. It also has a 35 rd mag in the grip.
With that I believe I can successfully fend off any determined attack by at least 7 or 8 bad guys and I don't ruin my hearing in the process!
Sarge

I'm having technical difficulties with my pics, but I keep my full size SIG P320 9mm with a 21 rd magazine bedside.

Here's my answer. Not ON the nightstand, but part of the nightstand....Ruger SR9c on the plastic coated rod cut from one of those pistol holder stands for your safe. Cut off and epoxied in place.

Not heard often these days, but an excellent weapon. I have one that would probably be out if that spot wasn't taken by my smaller carry gun. I carried its aluminum-framed predecessor, the P85, as an issued sidearm many moons back...

Full on tanks in every way

I may have a post on this thread but I recently changed my nightstand gun. Used to be a S&W SD9ve but now it's a Sig P250 compact.

Someone mentioned the Ruger P95 and I posted that I'd probably have mine out on the nightstand if that space wasn't already taken by my EDC gun.

I went and got the Ruger out of lockup and it now does nightstand duty. For me, the "nightstand" is actually the end of a computer desk with a high hutch; the Ruger is up top (to be grabbed once I get to my feet) and my EDC (Kel-Tec PF9) is below, in case I don't make it to my feet.

Glock 19 or DW 1911 CCO .45ACP, each is a carry pistol too, with a spare mag for each, plus three high lumen lights in the bedroom, three more around the house, and a $2000.00 security system. For the record, I survived an armed robbery in my house! I take home and family protection... VERY seriously.

Hi...
Same gun that I use as my carry gun.
Springfield Armory 1911 in .45ACP.
Back up is a 12ga. Ithaca M37 pump.
Behind that is an SKS 7.62x39 with multiple 20rd magazines.
I am prepared.
Distant Early Warning System provided by two large and vocal Labrador Retrievers.

Glock 23 with TLR-1 WML and Fenix PD32 hand light, a couple of extra mags. Closet has long arms.

There’s a LOT of junk on my nightstand...

As far as gun stuff goes...

I keep a G19 with a tlr1 in a pistol box inside the night stand with a spare G17 mag. My spyderco endura wave with a stream light polytac also. In addition, I have some other rotating carry stuff like watches, multitools, pens, and pepper spray. Last but not least, my phone.

Also, the G19 is carried often in colder weather and occasionally in hot weather.
