Back in the 70's & 80's there were tons of 25 ACP Ravens around and they were cheap and plentiful. They fit right into the prevailing media mindset of that era as a typical " Saturday Night Special". There were a few eras of Raven production that had some quality problems but for the most part they were halfway decent for what they cost. Bottom line, though, is that they're still an el-cheapo handgun. Here's one that got traded in at the LGS in 1995 and the owner told me to take it off his hands for 25 bucks. So I did.... Just for grins. Checked my log book and its had 207 trouble free rounds put through it since 1995 with the last 6 rounds being fired in 2010 as a function check. Now its kept as a curiosity item. Never did carry it other than just to the range and back. Nowadays these things are scarce... Not that it makes them valuable, desirable, and collectible..... Just scarce.
