To be fair, this is the work of antigun absolutists, who are probably more rare than pro-gun absolutists. Still, it's a preview of where the discussion is going.

Good comedy has a bit of truth to it.
This is not comedy. It is just truth. The satire doesn’t work because there is no exaggeration. She truly believes this, it's in the corners of her cheeks. (Different people have different tells.) Another human may have written it for her, but, well, birds of a feather... work at the same production company.

It plays to those who feel disgust for the right to keep and bear arms because it's a critical component of feeling competent and autonomous as individuals, rather than totally relying on the goodwill of an almighty, unassailable government.

A disarmed population is, by definition, a population that has completely ceded the power to defend its natural rights to life, liberty, and property against local, state or federal authorities.

This implies a level of trust much more consistent with that which children have for parents than that which mature adults have for the institutions they have created to perform vital functions like fighting the Nation's wars, keeping the peace, maintaining schools and providing clean water.

A disarmed population is allowed the toxic luxury of feeling as though our way of life and our safety from oppression comes without the tremendous responsibilities and moral complexities of wielding force. The same people who passively pay taxes that put tanks on the streets and fighter jets in the skies over our enemies’ nations can cringe at the idea of owning guns themselves—projecting their survival instincts onto an all-powerful parent figure (the State).

Just one more wedge between "city" and rural people.

The civil war they insist on fomenting is goinf to be drawn badly, and is unlikely to succeed as they would have it.

And if they get our guns, they're coming for US.

Well, I think I have less brain cells as a result of watching that.

At least they were honest, complete disarmament is their goal.

They kill more than guns and cars combined. Why are there not called for their being banned? Because most recognize the utility of them. (Except extreme environmentalists, and certain religions) What antis don't recognize is the utility of guns, nor do the deluded that believe this claptrap. They do not see the dangers behind what they are espousing because They think they are smarter that you and know what is best for you. I have asked some who have spouted the anti lines how they think they will accomplish getting everyone's guns. The answers are amusingly juvenile.

If there ever was a snowflake that needed a wake up call as to what the rest of the world is really like it's this clown. He needs to be thrown into some third world, hell hole run by a dictatorial government that has disarmed the civilian population, or into a region controled by local warlord/bandits running around raping every woman they see and killing everyone that gets in their way, neither of which care at all about the lives of ordinary people, including the "children"........ and then come back and make a silly *&%^&* little sing-a-long video about why we don't need guns or the second amendment. Stuff like this makes me want to puke....

People in this country are soooo insulated from just how bad the rest of the world can be...... And then they turn around and despise the very things that keep them from being potentially exposed to the horrors that exist elsewhere... Chiefly, the U.S. military, the police and the second amendment. I am so tired of idiots like the one in the video that fuse together the second amendment and hunting. The 2nd amendment is about tyranny and self-defense, not hunting. We are free because we are strong, not because the rest of the world is nice..... My Dad served in the Army during WW2, in the European theater, he saw first hand what a "civilized" and modern society can turn into in a short amount of time.
