Great loss always came to our rescue when was needed the most. Big big gap on this forum without him and every where he touched people's lives.

Going through this forum after having been away working on boats up in Alaska, I was looking for his posts and wondering what knowledge he was going to impart on me this particular day.

I am not ashamed to say that I have shed a few tears for RC, and with a sad heart I wish his family all the best. He was always kind, generous, and one of the greatest online presences that ive ever had the privilege of learning from.

I been away from THR for many months. This is truly sad news of RCs passing. I remember nearly every question I ever asked would be promptly answered by RC. He was always ready to help and never made you feel dumb for asking. I too will miss him. My condolences to his family and close friends.

Just logged on after being absent for a while. I can't believe what I'm seeing. RC was a class act and will be missed. RIP RC.

I've been gone a while. I logged on looking forward to his blunt post.

RC was a great man I enjoyed taking about firearms & motorcycles. He'll be missed.

Rest in peace RC model. I too have got advice from him and have read so many of his posts in the past to know how much he enjoyed reloading and sharing his passion with others.

I don't get on here as much as in the past, but posting this hurts none the less.

Wow, like others he was a go to guy for legit info that i trusted. Been away from thr for a bit and just saw this.

I am trying to find RC Models past posts but have been unable to find them as I would like to reread them. I tried the search function using RC Model as a member name but come up with nothing. I would like to reread his posts that I have read in the past as a lot of them were very helpful to me. I still cannot believe he is gone even 6 months later. TIA..

I've been away from the forum for a long time and was shocked and saddened to find that RC had passed. He was always so willing to share his experience and knowledge and it made newbies like me feel very comfortable asking questions. RC you will be missed by all that you touched.

I actually feel bad. My activity on THR has dropped off over the last few years. I have had less time, and I have been spending more time on other social media groups that are more focused. (But not as good or comprehensive.) I didn'the learn other RC's passing until months after.

What I see in RC is a representation of a fading definition of expertise. More and more it means an intense fascination and a lot of opinions about a given subject, and less a lifetime of practice, study, and application.

Wow, I've been away in India for a while, and now that I'm back, started looking around here to see what's been happening. Very sad to read this. We had lots of good discussions. I will definitely miss his postings and feedback.

I have been tied up with other endeavors so I haven't been around much lately. I'm very sorry to hear that RC passed. He will be sorely missed! He invested a great deal of his life to help all of us, and we are fortunate to have some of his knowledge still with us in older threads.

Wow, I have been away for quite a while due to real life issues (building house, changing jobs, working out of state...) and come back to find this. It is so sad to see. RC was a great guy and a true pleasure to talk to. We had several long conversations on various subjects. He was always quick to help and as others have said he never made you feel stupid or looked down on. RIP RC

I logged in to THR last night after about 5 years. I had a feeling... Just years later.

RIP.
