What is your ‘funnest’ gun?

Came in to say 1895 45-70 myself. I'm shocked how popular it is.

Otherwise, a couple that come to mind are

-SKS
-Rossi 92 in 357.
-M1 carbine
-20" retro AR
-Winchester 94 with a Redfield bead sight.

My model 29. I love the way it looks, it definitely lets you know it went off and I'm trying to group as well as my range instructor:

My Marlin 39A when I'm shooting silhouette. It is so cool to sight through the tang sight, pull the trigger and "ping" when it hits the silhouette and it falls.

In a rifle my funnest gun would be my Ruger 10/22. Runner-Up would be my Colt AR-15 SP1 Sporter. The Bronze Medal goes to my Rossi M92 in .45 Colt.

In a shotgun funnest one to shoot is my Mossberg Model 9200 with it's well regulated gas system. Next would be versatile Winchester Model 1300 in a 20 gauge. Last for fun is my Marlin Model 200 12 gauge single shot shotgun. It's just a hoot to shoot!.

In a revolver the biggest "blast" is my Ruger Vaquero in .45 Colt. If shooting this doesn't put a smile on your face, well there must be something wrong with you...just sayin'! This is followed closely by my Ruger Single Six; good old fashioned fun with a .22. Third place is my S&W Model 686 which is such a well balanced and sweet shooting .357.

In a semi-auto most fun would still be my Beretta Model 70S. Reliable, accurate, and a pleasure to shoot all day long. Second place would be my Colt Combat Commander which was one of a limited run of guns customized by Colt's Custom Gun Shop. As accurate as a Gold Cup but nowhere near as finicky about ammo, this gun makes anyone a decent shooter if they do their part. Last but not least always "tons of fun" with my Browning Hi-Power Mk.II.

Currently my AR15.

I've been saving for a Panzer AR12 and will have one in the next couple of weeks. I've shot my buddies several times and can already say without a doubt that will take the number one spot for "fun gun".

My most "enjoyable" gun to shoot is my Marlin 81.

All are fun when they do what I want. All of them suck when they don't. And when I'm finally honest with myself in that I suck, the guns are all good again.

For a few weeks last trap season I was convinced my barrel was bent slightly. It wasn't.

My first gun given to me by dad, a MKII 22/45 that I've done a couple things to.

Edit: realized we're in the rifle forum so I wanted to add the Ruger American Rimfire. My duty AR with the high speed PEQ laser and optics and lights is fun, but working your own bolt on a 22 LR is hard to beat.

Funnest shotgun ever is my brothers New England single shot .410. Its a case hardened reciever, adult sized wood stock, and a 21" barrel. First centerfire I ever shot and still one of my favorite. He won't sell it to me.

Rifle : 30 Carbine with a collapsible wire stock and an old Weaver Quick Point.

Shotgun : Jackie Brown custom 20 gauge Trade Gun. Got to love a flintlock.

I have a pump thirty aught six. A well loved Remington seven sixty. With one hundred ten grain handloads and a lot of CFE two-twenty three, it is just great. Everyone is ready for the bark, but no one expects the light show!

Any bottle in eyesight is toast. And I get to "rack it" all macho style and fling the brass right into the bucket!

That and, ARs!
Can't forget the rim fires... Dang. This Is hard. No. I'll stay with the pump, but it's like picking a favorite child!:)

In no particular order.

Phoenix hp22a, 6.8spc heavy AR, S&W 30-1, Contender, and Ruger Single Six.

Of the pile, the HP22 is a standout as the rest are at least 4x the price of the little Phoenix. It’s almost as accurate as the RSS, and it just keeps on ticking.

For rifles, I guess I'd have to say the Marlin 39A and 1894 in .357 Mag. SKS is also a lot of fun as a cheap semi-auto blaster.

For handguns... kind of hard to say. A lot of the ones I would consider are heavy-for-caliber, making them soft shooters. The Makarov in .380 comes to mind. I also enjoy most any .22 revolver with CBs or Colibris, but especially my Single Ten for some reason. The Bersa Firestorm in .22 is inexplicably fun. I also have a 4" stainless Security Six that is well broken in and a pleasure to shoot. This question is too hard for me to answer for handguns...

I don't find shotguns very fun to shoot, even with birdshot. At least not in 12 gauge; I guess .410 is okay...

My 30-06, 760 is on my fun list, too. Everyone always wants to try it, because...."a pump action rifle?"
But after they fire a stout 180gr, they're pretty much done with it.

My personal favorite has pretty much gotta be the M1 carbine. I just love everything about it.

Yeah a 760 in 30/06 was the first full size rifle I ever shot. I have been shooting 12 guage pumps since I was 10 and couldn’t believe the recoil of that gun.

Depends on what I'm doing. For example, if at a public range (which fortunately I don't do very often) it would be my 300 Win Mag with a brake... keeps people away from me, I don't like people.
