Toolcraft BCG

That sounds like a reasonable price, and they have a good rep. Post up a link to the exact one you're looking at and we can look over the spec's.
For what its worth, I usually buy mine from PSA when they go on sale, and I've never had a bad one or anything out of spec.

Looks like the price went up a bit. I got one for $67.99 from righttobear.com a couple months ago.

I've heard nothing but good things about the Toolcraft BCB. Works great for me, no complaints.

BTW, righttobear.com has a bunch of items that are free shipping, some of which make the entire order ship free. So if you order from there consider picking up another part you need.

A Toolcraft came with my Radical BLK upper from JoeBob's. I probably have about 1000 rounds through it without any issues.

I just put together an 11.5" pistol in 5.56mm with a Toolcraft BCG. Haven't shot it yet, but it seems to be quality, staking is proper.

They come fairly highly regarded on m4carbine.net forum.

Toolcraft has an excellent reputation. It is also often reported that they manufacture BCG for many other resellers who rebrand them as their own. Keep in mind when purchasing that they have 2 different materials they use for their bolt Carpenter 158 and 9310. You'll find endless internet debate on material which can be basically summed up as:

Jane:"Which is better 158 or 9310?"
Tom:"158 is Mil-spec"
Dick:"Well they've made advancements since the 1960's and 9310 when properly heat treated is less brittle and stronger"
Tom:"But 9310 is highly dependent on heat treating and if it's not done correctly it will suck, 158 is has higher margin for error"
Dick:"But Noveske and Hodge"
Tom:"But BCM and Colt TDP"
Harry:"But AK47"

Toolcraft is good to go for sure. Best value it there. Monmouth reading, right to Bear, and granite ridge outfitters are all good vendors to check for pricing

Toolcraft is fine, but I'd pass on the phospsate finish and get nitride or np3 etc.
