The 124 MPRs work really well midrange to FP.
Now if they could just talk and remind me to shoot the target hiding behind the barrel my match scores might improve;)

Went right by one last month:oops::confused::cuss:

You could paint little eyes on the bullets. That way they might find there way to the target;)

But you have to remember to shoot at it to even give them a chance to find it:)

I didn't do a lot of testing with the RMR 124 FNJ FNs ,but in initial tests they shot very well.
I have some of the new 147 FMJ FNs I need to test but just haven't had time lately with work to make it to the range.

I'm trying my best not to order any as I'm saving up for other things. I figure if i used THR discount and waited till next month i would only lose $4.

Has anyone shot these side by side with the RMR 124 Gr MPR 124 Gr JHP which shoots quite well?

I have not done any real side by side testing, but have tested both in 357sig, but not 9mm.

In 357sig I can say that both are very accurate with the Match Winner producing my #1 grouping load in 357sig, and the MPR my #3 grouping load in 357sig. I think the MPR is a better fit in 357sig since I have more flexibility with the COL I use. I load it with a COL of 1.125". The Match Winner I have to load with a COL of 1.140", which is higher than the standard 1.135". The Match Winner makes neater holes in paper, but the MPR does some nice damage to a 1gallon water jug. I buy the Match Winner based on the cost since both works well in 357sig.

I ordered first thing yesterday morning eastern time, got the code about 4 hours later. Such is my luck. :D

Walkalong, for me the flat points shoot better. Granted my barrel just seems to LOVE them. It shoots the 124 MPR great, but I've never in my life had a bullet shoot exactly the same place every time like the flat nose does. That is out of my 2011 custom built gun. Out of my M&P and other guns they shoot very similarly. Justin (the guy who operates the machines) thinks that the 147 flat nose is the best bullet out of a glock (gen 3) that he has ever shot. He's hitting targets out to 130 yards with it. Until I started shooting our FMJ I could never rely on a bullet to always hit where I was aiming. I always just thought it was because of the inherent inaccuracy of a pistol. Well, it turns out that if you put as much effort into making a pistol bullet as you do a rifle bullet, you can get them to shoot amazingly well.

Oopss I forgot to put in the warning/disclaimer

Warning: Sales may cause you to spend more money than you plan on and get you in trouble with your significant other.
Use the sale price at your own risk, neither I nor THR are responsible.:D

Uhohhh, think I just cheated, I was way late to this post and ran over to make a purchase and that code's still workin'! Punish me as you will, as long as you promise some of those 69g BTHP 2nd's will make their way back!

10% off flashsale10 code sure is showing to be working still (Maybe Jake is feeling generous to extend the sale to celebrate Cinco de Mayo ;):D).

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

BUT HURRY and place your order before Jake changes his mind and cancels the discount code!!!

Keep in mind, higher the quantity, higher the discount.

So 4000 quantity order of 115 gr FMJ bullets comes out to $67.50/1000 shipped - https://www.rmrbullets.com/products...tal-jacket-bullets-new-made-right-here-at-rmr

And 12000 quantity order of 115 gr FMJ bullets comes out to unbelievable $65.70/1000 shipped!!!

These prices are cheaper than lead, coated lead or plated bullets shipped ...:eek::eek:
