I find S&B 9-mm to be filthy shooting compared to most other ammo. Lots of power residue including some little yellowish particles. It didn't used to be this way, but in the time since they were acquired by the Brazilian company CBC (Magtech ammo), the lots I've had have gotten to the point that they leave waay too much crap in my guns to suit me.
In the pictures below you can see some of the yellowish flakes. What you can't see as clearly in these photos is that there is also too much normal-looking "burned powder" residue too.

Here's the above CZ after firing some Perfecta that followed the S&B. You can see that the yellow flakes were blasted away, but when disassembled for cleaning you'll find some of the S&B residue down lower in the gun:
Here's a gun that's fired a good bit of GECO, which I find to be great ammo, and cleaning burning. This one is 45 ACP instead of 9-mm, but both burn equally clean IME
