Sig p365

Picked mine up last week. It has a DOB of June 8, 2018. I ran over 320 rounds through it yesterday and it ran like a top. Federal HST, Hornandy Cristical Defense, a few WWB, and a couple of hundred of Independence. A few more hundred and it will fit with my carry from time to time.

did you find the section circled in red was very sharp? the ones I have handled seem to have a hotspot there. I just wondered how it fared when shooting. (the image has been flipped to show where it would dig in on the right palm when shooting right handed.)

greyling22 I did not find that area uncomfortable. However because my hands are so big the first time shooting and yesterday my hand has a small cut between the thumb and four finger

I put another 200 rounds through it yesterday with zero problems.

This is Federal HST at 7 yards

This is Hornady Critical Duty at 10 yards.

Pretty funny MAC heaps much praise on the taurus g2c in his last video with the p365. I have to admit the pt11 g2 is a good pistol.

Some have has trouble with a sharp edge on the mag which they solved with some 400 grit sandpaper. Overall I think you will find almost any small gun to hit you somewhere after extensive firing. Remembering it is a defensive gun, I keep my range visits to about a 100 rounds per session.

Interesting groups -- about like mine on my initial range trip. It seems these little beasts tend to shoot a bit low, at least at 7 yds. BTW, I experienced no discomfort whatsoever shooting both 115 and 124-gr duty ammo.

I'm waiting very patiently for the issues to get worked out of the P365. From what I've watched on video, this is a very well designed carry pistol that I believe will work very well with a thin Kydex holster, as it will be my first time moving to Kydex from leather. I want the lightest and thinnest possible 9mm with good capacity for carry. Gotta be 100% reliable, highest quality and no issues! Ya hear that Sig? ;)

Dont know what the problems are with the 365. Mine is just a downright excellent pistol. It has become my favorite CCW pistol. I've put close to 1000 rds of manufactures and my reloads through it without a problem. The pistol is really accurate. I usually shoot twice weekly for tgt shooting and steel challenge. I shoot my ccws once each month. I have been carrying a SIG P238 in the summer and my SPFLD xds 45 in cold weather for most the past 5-10 years. Of my 238 and xds 45, the 365 is the most accurate. I practice with them from 7 yds, 15 yds, and 25 yds using the "birchwood casey 8" splatter tgts. I'm a decent shoot (not even close to an expert shot and slow at steel challenge) but I shoot 20 rds each time at 25 yds with that 365 and I hit (for me)10 - 15 (most ever) hits on the tgt (not all in the bull). Only pistols I ever had problems is with my SIG 1911 and the xds. Fixed fast and no charge for shipping. If you want a super fine ccw pistol that is accurate and holds 10 rds, I readily recommend the SIG P365.

I also prefer Crossbreed Holsters because of their comfort and the excellent concealment value. Best is they finally came out with one for the 365. I did buy from SIG the IWB kydex and hate the bloody thing. It digs into by side and so stiff - $90 bucks laying in my cabinet. DW Bullard are my favorite leather holsters. Had lots of others but migrated to these two holsters.

Bottom line, as I see it, The pistol mfgs are excellent firms and honor their product warranty. To date, I have no qualms buying early. They back their products just plike the P320 which I sent in. Yea inconvenience but the product is better and performs as advertised.

PS. Dont need the nay-sayers and the nick pickers harping their sad songs. I had a knee replacement that is not right. It's a nuisance and can't/won't be fixed. "Blip" happens and ya lose. At least with a weapon you can sell it.

I like mine so much I bout another one. Love both of them. I am not a sig fan boy. This pistol is making me one.

Oddly I thought this first as well, but it actually is not an issue when shooting for me.

I have 2 P365's
And I am carrying a G-43 in their place.
The grip angle is just wrong for me,and if I do not resolve it [ or get over it ] I will actually sell them off.
And I never sell off my pistols, just put them back in the safe.

Sights are calibrated for a sight picture with the front sight door occluding the point of aim. I really dislike that myself.
