Single-stage "utility" press for large rifle brass

I cannot agree more with the suggestion of the Lee classic, but have one more thing to add.

In addition to the better spent primer handing, the non-breech allows you to rotate the head of the ram and use the priming arm as a case kicker. That alone doubles your efficiency.

I'm still not sure why Lee didn't just add breech lock to the classic without totally changing it. Thank you Hornady for making lnl available in a standard thread pattern for Lee users.

The combination makes an inexpensive and dang near perfect press.

With the difference in price, I got an RCBS bench-mounted priming thingy to mount next to the Lee because I couldn't find my RCBS hand priming thingy. Needless to say it reappeared the next day.

This is due to small rotating black holes that exist around reloading equipment/guns.
Things fall into the black holes and re-emerge later in time.
The smaller the part is the easier it is for the black hole to capture it.
Small springs/pins etc fall in real easy.

I'm sure you will be very happy with that press as you use it. Yes, it is a beast. If I didn't already have a Rockchucker I would buy one in a hot minute. (like I said in Post #14)

Congrats Shmackey. I got to Lee classic Cast when it 1st came out so that my toddler son could have a press to D cap with while I Was hand loading. It has served me well. It's just as good as the Redding Boss II but at 1/3 of the price. Maybe not as pretty (Redding single stage presses such as T7, Boss II, Ultramag to me look the coolest) but I'm not as vain as I once was.

That's awesome. Should probably delete before CPS comes knocking on your door.

Just kidding....I let my kid help sort brass but I made sure she didn't smoke while doing it.
