RIP rcmodel

The real testament to the man is that here we are, a year and a half later, and people are still expressing that they miss him.

I only had the opportunity to interact with him on firearms questions. Now that I started reloading this year, I find I really miss him quite a bit.

I still feel a twinge when I am reading an old thread and run across one of his posts. May he RIP. Another local gun forum I frequent has lost two well regarded members like RC in the past year.

Its been a long minute for sure since I have been on this forum and is shocking news to have seen this thread.
My start and guide to reloading was this forum and RCmodel was a guiding light for me as well.
We even shipped one another brass that we could not use or had come across just to keep up on odd ball calibers not commonly shot in each others areas.
May he rest in peace. His threads / postings filled with great advise will be here for a long time to come which is a good thing as he did share so much knowledge freely for a hobby who so many enjoy.

He did touch many of our lives. You would think you can't become friends online but we did. He and I had many private conversations and not only about reloading but about our families and personal lives too. I'm sure he is in a good place right now sitting around talking about reloading, radio control cars and of course shooting daily!

I had spoke with him a few times, and he was always there to offer his help with my reloading questions. I still open this thread and think about him more than i probably should. I hope he knew how many peoples lives he touched on this board and how his posts will go on forever helping people with similar questions in the future.

I have been a member here for many years. RC was always here giving good advice. I never noticed a post he made that I did not agree with.

which means nothing cuz he was way more knowledgeable than I am.

I can only imagine how much his family must miss him..

shoot and hunt in peace RC!
