I'm looking at a Glock 21 gen 3 less then a 1000 rounds down the barrel seller thinks less
then that one owner asking $350

If it is a SF I'd be all over it for that price. Non SF and I'd still buy it, just not as quick.

Love the 21.

Get it ! !

The 21 has much better stopping power than the 17 since it's a .45 auto.

Stopping power is a myth and even so empirical evidence suggests they are roughly equal.

But I do like the mighty .45 ACP, especially out of a Glock 21!

I would do it. One of the Glocks I had went through 1600+ rounds of 10x25. The only signs of wear was thin line on botton of barrel running longitudinally (basically black finish removed) and some finish wear on inside of slide just ahead of ejection port. Many guns show much more wear just after few hundred rounds fired. A Glock with < 1000 rounds is like 1 year old Accord with < 10 000 miles.

Some of the early Gen 3 G21SF guns sort of self disassembled due to issues with the reversible mag release. I'm pretty sure Glock figured it out (I don't know what the fix was), but if it were a Gen 3 G21SF, I'd look and see if Glock had some "upgrades" (as they like to call them) for that gun.

LOL wife gave our Son her old Accord over 160 000 miles on it still going

My Gen4 G-21 has the large beavertail backstrap installed on it. Before I put this on I used to get slide bitten, 2 fang marks on the web of my shooting hand from the wider slide. Unless the Gen3 doesn’t bite you, I’d opt for a Gen4 over a Gen3

Yeesh. I would wager very few folks have mitts large enough to get slide bite from a Glock 21 :)

Only the 26 bites me, yet I find it more comfortable sans beavertail so I live with the occasional blood.

At that price, grab it. If you really hate it, I feel pretty confident that you won't lose money in reselling.

This is my outlook. I don't "do" Glocks at all but, for that price, I'd try it out, have some fun with it, then pass it along if it didn't convert me.

More common than you might think. I know quite a few LEOs and even more comp shooters who would get bit if they didn’t either have Grip Force Adapters or BT backstraps on their duty or comp Glocks. I have Grip Force Adapters on my Gen3 17 & 19, and I also put the large beavertail backstrap on my 19x. In addition to preventing slide bite, I have found that my Glocks point ever so slightly better to the target with the GFAs on the Gen3’s and the BT backstrap on the Gen4 21 and the 19x.

I didn't like Glocks, the look and feel of them, until my FiL bought one. After I shot his, I changed my mind.

Now I have three.

I was the same until I got a trade offer for a Sig P250 I didnt like. Gen 4 Glock 21.

Now I have six, and no other poly strikers.
