Have you guys had any issues with primers setting too deep on 9mm Luger Browning brass?
I'm getting light strikes on 1 or 2 out of 200 and every time it's Browning brass.

I am not clear, do you mean 9mm Browning, or 9mm brass with a browning headstamp. There is a difference.

Other names for .380 ACP include .380 Auto, 9mm Browning, 9mm Corto, 9mm Kurz, 9mm Short, 9×17mm and 9 mm Browning Court (which is the C.I.P. designation).
from here

If you do mean 9mm Browning, a.k.a. 380, I do have trouble. I am using a Lee Classic Turret and I find it is easy to seat the primers too deep. At other times, they are not deep enough. I end up inspecting each round. There is a sweet spot for the primer seating; but I am not reliably hitting it.

On closer reading I see this:
every time it's Browning brass

So, you are not talking about 380. I am leaving my post though, solutions for your problem may help me with my problem.

No sir, not .380, Browning 9mm cases with the Browning deer head stamp

Ah, you mean 9mm Luger, Browning cases.

Do the primers appear to be or measure deeper in the Browning cases compared to other brand cases?

Yes, sorry I omitted Luger. I changed it. I have not measured the depth of the primer pocket on the Browning cases I'm referring to compared to other manufacturers, It would be easy enough to do, I'm just interested if anyone else is seeing this.

It could be the Glock. I had to replace the firing pin spring in mine for light strikes. Also, it might be trying to fire out of battery. Check the firing pin hit to see if it's centered, or off-center.

Also, what brand of primers?

Is it ALWAYS with Browning headstamp cases?

Can you see or measure that the primer seats deeper in the Browning brass? I once had some RP .25-06 with such deep primer pockets that would drop the primer nearly out of reach of the firing pin, so it can happen at the factory level.
If so, don't worry about it, just trash the offending cases.

The firing pin is new. When looking at the primer (CCI by the way) it a light strike, and it's only on the Browning 9mm Luger cases. I have already starting purging them from my stash. Just wondered if anyone else was seeing this.

Olin makes the Browning-branded ammo, the cases are the same thing as WIN with a different headstamp. If you're having issues specific to this brass I'd think it a primer seating issue. Flash holes are terrible on WIN/Browning but they go bang.

Did you try to fire them a second time? If they fire on the second attempt it could be that the primer was not seated deep enough. If that's the problem, the first strike seats the primer and the second attempt usually fires it. Just a thought.

I haven't had any problems with them. instead of aiming for a certain spec, I seat them snugly. all my firing pins manage to reach them ok
