Beautiful rifle.

.458 built on Pre-64 M-70 Win, with drop box for additional round, integral quarter rib on octagonal barrel, plus a few extras.

Took this yesterday.

One that I just sold - had a 2nd stock from MPI that only weighed 18.5 oz.

Here's a 3-for-1 since they're "varmint" (is that "hunting"?).

If the muzzle looks funny in the top picture, it's because there's a piece of electrical tape over the muzzle to protect it from dirt, should it hit the ground. (Has only happened with this rifle once, when I got tripped up by a hidden root in our access trail, which was covered with snow. No harm, but I fell on my "face" when my boot tip got caught as a bunch of us were walking out to get breakfast. Over the shoulder carry, my rifle went flying-sliding along the snow-covered path. (Didn't use it again, until after checking the zero, which was okay.)
