What is the caliber of your Every Day Carry pistol?

In warm weather, it's the Springfield Armory XDs in .45. In cooler weather, it's a full size 1911 in .45.

I have a GP-100 4" in .357 mag stashed in the truck.

A 44, 45lc or 45acp.

I love the .40, it's my favorite and it's what I carry.

.357 magnum main carry,and a .38 spl snub as backup

A G-27 that may be backed up by one of many.

I made the mistake of shooting one of my 1911s.

So now my .45 ACP VBob is back in my holster.

I voted .357 Magnum, as the question asked for the caliber of my EDC, not what ammo I carry in it. My daily carry ammo is Underwood brand 38 special +P, 158Gr. hard cast SWC. It's rated at 1200 FPS and 550 FP.

I’ve been carrying a DB9 for a few months now and like it. Shoots pretty good

Prefer (and voted for) .45ACP. Carried in a S&W M&Pc. But the 442 in .38+P does see quite a bit of pocket time also. Couple others here and there, in different calibers.

That’s easy, other than a 1903 Pocket Hammerless, all my pistols are 9mm.

I just threw all my used guns in the trash.

Left jeans front pocket = Smith 640-3 in .357, right front jeans pocket = same thing...they have no equal.

Work my carry was a S&W Chief snubnose 38 spl. and a 3" HB S&W 357 , Two great revolvers . Now retired I carry a Colt New Agent 45acp 3"1911 . Also a great pistol .

It used to be 45ACP Glock 30 for me and 40S&W Glock 27 for wife.

Then Glock 30 got replaced with Taurus MilPro P145 because wife did not like the fat grip.

Then I switched to Glock 23 and wife added 380Auto Taurus TCP.

Now it's mix of Glock 23/27, 9mm Shield and Taurus TCP for us.

I voted 40S&W - A far from dead caliber and we practice with 9mm using 40-9 conversion barrels.

90% of the time I carry my SP101 2inch 357 , the rest of the time my Sig P238 .

Today it is 38S&W.

9mm hands down. Mostly in a Glock 17 or 17L, occasionally one of my Springfield Range Officers, and used to be an Astra A100. My wife won’t let me carry her Ruger SR9C.

I have also been known to carry a little 2" S&W Model 10 but generally it's the above 45 ACP.

S&W Model 65-1 and my open carry holster, a Bianchi 5BHL. I usually carry it under a Hawaiian shirt in a Bianchi #7.

Don't have a favorite caliber. Moved to where I don't need one. But I find it strange that the more

Not strange. The crooks in city hall protect the crooks on the street.

I carry a 9mm for EDC but also a LCR in .22 WMR for a NY reload. Two is one, one is none as gunny often stated.

Today it is 9mm Kurz.
