What's the cheapest gun you have that has given you the most enjoyment given it's price point?

S&W model 10-5 for $150 or Henry .22 for $200 NIB. The Henry hasn't been with me long but it's sure to become a family favorite.

Besides the Phoenix HPA 22. the Henry 22.cal has given me a lot of fun as well. A 22. rifle that I admire just looking at and working the action not to mention shooting. I paid a little more, but the cost is very low for the quality and enjoyment.

Well it would have to by my Glenfield 60 I bought in the early 80's for < $100.00 on sale in a sporting goods store in the Lehigh Valley Mall, PA.
It was my first rifle ever. I have it today and it runs fine.

I was also lucky enough to be around for thee cheap surplus guns. I have an M44 Mosin Nagant, arsenal refinished, got it at Big 5 on sale for $75. I've sot the hell out of it and thoroughly enjoyed owning it.

Marlin model 60
Used S&W 19-3 RB snub bought for $349 not too long ago. If they outlaw semis, this will become my EDC

NEF single shot 20 Gauge - $80. My current truck gun and occasional backyard clay shooting.

S&W Victory .22 pistol, $319, courtesy of Marcus Lemonis.

I would have named my Savage .17 HMR bolt action, but the glass that makes it work was expensive.

I was around, just too dumb to take advantage. Maybe broke too.
It was just maybe 4-5 years ago that Mosins were sub $100. My friend bought one at Cabelas for $99. Still in cosmoline and new IIRC. Had the accessories kit.

I have no use for milsurps. IMO, for the most part they’re ugly, most are beat up, and they’re not particularly accurate. If you like ‘em, enjoy yourself. Just not my thing.

I had an SKS that I bought for $120 OTD and sold for $325.

$60 for the Mossberg Palomino in 70s. Sold it in the 80s for $60. Bought it back in the 90s for $60. Great fun gun. Built better than the high price spreads nowadays.

Mine are:

Dan Wesson 715, near mint, box, papers, parts, and 3 grips! $269+ship+transfer. Not my gun, but about the same condition. First and best deal ever on Gunbroker.

Tanfoglio "Mossad" 9mm Fullsize: $309+ship+transfer. Probably my favorite gun, period.

An old Iver Johnson break open single shot in 16 gauge. This gun is a featherweight and a joy to carry all day. It's my self defense weapon when I back pack into remote areas of the Bighorn Mts. I've taken countless squirrels with this shotgun and one whitetail deer downed with buckshot at very close range. 16 gauge ammo isn't typically found at the local stores but Midway stocks what I need.

Probably the SMLE. $125 and a pleasure to shoot every time I've hauled it out. I have a hunch my recently purchased M&P EZ .380 is going to be a favorite. Centerfire feel, rimfire manners. Going to see a lot of use.

A Rock Island 1911 is hard to beat for price vs fun. Mine went 10k rounds without a failure, good accuracy, and I even left my Kimber in the car a couple times at matches. Now my brother uses it as his duty piece. Think I paid $325 for it back in 2003 and it has had about $75 of parts put in it since.
