Call camera land NY and so to speak with doug. He will hook it up and they have black Friday deals as well as demos etc. They have many brands but something like an Athlon Talks would probably work really well for what you want. Athlon packs a lot of value in their optics
Yeah they were running some pretty good sales. I meant Athlon Talos above, sorry for typo.I just ordered a Midas BTR 2.5-15x50, and I THINK the Argos 4-20x50s are still on sale.
I'll vouch for both of those scopes.
They we're 250 and 160 respectively
I recently read a thread on here I believe that stated the quality of the Center point scopes was lacking compared to the same model a from a few years ago. I know this is only for a 22, but depending on your budget you may be able to do better.Well I went and purchased my new rifle today and took a peek at those Bushnell's and for some reason the whole entire box of them was still full except one missing. I took this as a sign they weren't all they were cracked up to be so I passed. I'm currently looking at a center point 4-16-40 AO.
Thanks for the info. Im not settled on the centerpoint. My biggest draw to it was my buddies 3-9 was really nice and the one im looking at is 4-16 so I can shoot at my 3'' shoot n c targets at 100yards and also has the lighted retical for coon hunting at night. I now found mueller APV from doing some research so that route maybe good. I have some amazon rewards cash $30 coming next week so it will have to be something local or from amazon.I recently read a thread on here I believe that stated the quality of the Center point scopes was lacking compared to the same model a from a few years ago. Check out the optic below. Lifetime warranty and if you call Doug he will offer better pricing most likely.

You can see other options sorted by lowest price. The one I linked is right under $100 and will be a much better scope than the center point.

Something like a Vortex copperhead/ crossfire might be a good option as well. Don't forget to check out any local websites that sell stuff as well. You may find a Leupold vx1 or similar for cheap. I have found some good deals that way.
In the long run it is your decision and money, I just think there are some better options than the center point
Primary arms makes a nice 6x with a really good reticle too. Lots of good choices available

i had the 4-16 on a target ruger 10-22 i put together about 4 years ago. it was good for the money and clear. don,t know if i would trust it on a hunting gun or one with recoilWell I went and purchased my new rifle today and took a peek at those Bushnell's and for some reason the whole entire box of them was still full except one missing. I've been looking at normal rifle scopes and i keep seeing posts about fuzziness at 50yards cause of the 100yard parallax.I picked up a Nikon 4x14x40 scope for $98 from Sportsmans Guide on Friday.
