2018 Gun Aquisitions

Well I only got 2, but between them it's a little over 4K. One purchase and one build:

CZ75 "Accu-Lite Shadow" from the CZ Custom shop (Below the Baer):



and my .300AAC pistol PDW build:

I did pick up some long guns and built a few ARs.

Been a pretty good year. Dont expect anymore between now and year end, but..... never know. Very nlessed this year and next, but hoping to get a cz 455 (or new 57?) Heavy barrel 22 and a smith 627 pc next year.

I was a good boy this year.

2. Colt Combat Elite series 70 with box and papers.
3. Smith & Wesson model 10 nickel plated.
Sure hope I get a Red Ryder from Santa.

Only purchased one firearm in 2018. A Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter and added a red dot sight.

It's been a good year for me. Early model Ruger44 Mag carbine, Savage bolt action 30-30, LeFever 12 ga. SxS, Ruger Sp101 3",Sig Mosquito .22, Walther PPK/S .22, S&W model 10-3, and a Colt 1991 A-13 "

I got three items: a Dillon SDB, a Colt Gold Cup NM,and a Mossberg 500 Tactical Scorpion Cruiser.

This has been a good year for purchases.

Knowing some guys around here though, the first polymer pistol may place higher, unfortunate aesthetics aside.

You guessed right! I like polymer pistols OK (especially the H&K USP) but the Bren was a special find.

Just checked my list and discovered that so far I have acquired eight firearms this year. But wait, I will be picking up number nine this Tuesday.

I received a couple of firearms from family members but I actually have not personally purchased one this year. This is the first year I haven't purchased one in about a decade.

At a time in my life I shouldn't be accumulating more stuff I bought two NY Dept of Correction model 10s. (10-10 and 10-14) I recently bought an SP101 model 5720 2 1/4"(357) only because I had an old Bucheimer holster I inherited that was empty.

Nice! Where did you find the 10s? I'm from NYC and would love to have one of those!

I have been slowing down and the better half has made me go to the one in one out on rifles. I really need another safe. So long story short only 2 new guns in 2018 ..i did some horse trading and got rid of my Savage 11 trophy in .308 and added a Savage 10 FP-sr. Topped it with a leupold VX3i and leupol rings. I am very happy with this one.

I also got my concealed carry this year and purchased a G43. That's it!

I almost forgot, my father gifted me a ladysmith model 60 .357 magnum. This is my wife's EDC.

I bought mine from a LGS in my town that had 10 ranging from 10-8 to 10-14 to choose from. They came with the Gould and Goodrich service holsters two HK speed loaders and pouches. I saw them online until recently possibly on Gunbroker. I think Bud's is still selling French police trade in model 10s for under $300 but a lot of them appear to be pretty beat up. Mine are pretty good compared to some I've seen and function perfectly although they've got holster wear and some scratches that the photos aren't showing.

That's a coincidental time span for this topic. My active handgun shooting (and first self-defense classes) only began a year ago December.

Since then, German-proofed Sigs: P225 ('98), P6 ('01), pair of P228s ('94), CZ 75D 'PCR' and the .380 Russian Makarov.
The cash mostly came from selling or trading other guns, mostly via Armslist TN.

I'm getting a little slower, in pulling the trigger, on new guns, and need another safe or two, if wanting anymore, but made room for a DMPS AR10 308, and really like it.
