Hey fellas, been awhile hope alls well. Had a bunch going on w/life. Getting back in the the cave and going to set up the SDB. I useally create the load on my T-7 that being said. looking for a were to order and what you might have loaded in the past? Thank you JOHN! Want to try a dewc style bullet. just got in from colt the drop in barl. for and ezier feed:).

Don't see any in 45, looked at Misouri, Sommers Ent, and Acme? I've only used them in 38 and 357 cases. NOE has 2 wc molds but no dewc.
Matt's bullets has 3 wadcuters but no dewc?

Will your colt feed them?

Can't say what your Colt will like but my Smith 52 likes hbwc's better than dewc's. I am buying Remington hbwc's from Black Hills for almost the same price as commercial cast dewc's.

I don't know of any commercially cast 45 DEWCs.

Not saying no one makes 'em, I just don't know of any.

Wouldn't mind trying them myself.
Good luck finding some.

Yes, I cast my own 45 caliber wadcutters. I can't say I've ever seen any commercial ones either.

My mold is really a solid base wadcutter as opposed to a DEWC, the base is different from the nose of the bullet.

I've never known of anyone shooting 45 wadcutters in a 45 ACP M1911. If they did, I doubt there would be a whole bunch of different options of getting 38 caliber wadcutters to work in an M1911.

185 grain and 200 grain 45 caliber semi-wadcutters are available commercially and are easy to get to work in a 45 ACP M1911. They are the mainstay bullets of the bullseye competition crowd in 45 ACP guns.

Better information from the OP would be helpful.

lauderdale, what caliber is your gun? 45? 38? something else? Please provide more information so people don't have to guess.
