Made a visit to Blue Mecca today

How did you manage to get out of there without buying SOMETHING! You must have given your wallet to your wife for safe keeping!

Restraint! I find it best to not even enter those types of places. I'm only about 1.5hrs. from Titan Reloading, so far I've resisted.

I would have made it to the 650XL then MAN, I would have been in BIG trouble! My LNL-AP gets lonely, I know it, I'm not a good owner, I think the two would get along like "Peas and Carrots"!

i went there last November and again I'm now in the Phoenix area for a couple of days. I was thinking of swinging by but will not do it. the big tumbler and media separator i bought last visit are still in their boxes in the garage. still haven't had to clean a buch of cases.
i might irrationally start to think i need to upgrade to a 650.

I imagine their piped-in music selections included hits such as, "I'm Mr. Blue", "Blue Christmas", "Blue Suede Shoes", "Folsom Prison Blues", "Blue Jean Baby", "Blue Bayou", "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain", "Song Sung Blue", and similar.

I used to live abt an hour from Lee's factory. Had to move away.
Closer to 2 1/2 - 3 hrs away now

I always found the SL900 very interesting. You don't see much posted from folks who have one. They look a bit expensive...but if it would serve me as well as my 550 has, I'd love one.

Went there this past fall while in Pheonix on vacation, and it's a cool place. Folks were super nice and I too, got out without buying anything.

p.s. I do already have a Square Deal B I'm super pleased with.

The SL900 is really a 650 adapted for shotgun, and yes they are very interesting. You never see these for sale unless the owner falls over dead.

The love affair might be short lived. With an SL900 on the bench, you'd naturally want to trade in your 550 for a 650. With all the caliber conversions and new tool heads that move would involve, it might be cheaper to put a kid through medical school.

Just be careful what you wish for !
