1909 Glisenti 9mm Pistol

That is a new one on me! Kind of looks like a cross between a Nambu and a Lahti with a Luger barrel. Very cool!

What is the country of origin? Any interesting history that belongs to the pistol?

Italian, pre WW1 attempt at a service auto. Used a low-powered 9mm catridge which was (unfortunately) interchangeable with the Luger round- resulting in some Kabooms and injuries.......
Was issued concurrently with the Bodeo revolver until both were superceded by the Beretta M34/35 series pistols, though examples were still in use at the end of WW2.
