Wow it took 2 weeks for this gun to arrive from a dealer in the Wisconsin .
I placed the order over the phone it seems they had none let in stock.
Another week past then the bad winter storm set in.
Fed ex said it will be delivered to day.
I hope the gun is a good shooter will see .
We got some nice weather for tomorrow 72 degrees.

You must be down at the tip of FLorida..., we're all scrambling to buy sunscreen up here where I live with a predicted high of 61° on Tuesday. It's 29° here, right now.

Good luck with the ML!

I like my Impact. It's accurate with 90 grains of Blackhorn 209 and Hornady .45/.50 SST 250 grain. Most groups around 1.5" at 100 yards.

It balances well for it's .50 cal barrel and a scope will send more weight rearward so the balance point will be about 2" from the trigger guard.

The trigger is good. Mine breaks close to 4 pounds, which is what I want in hunting rifles.

The length of pull, however, is short. It's adjustable but the LOP is short even with all spacers installed. Be careful your scope is not mounted to far rearward.

The gun is shipped with its bore greased so make sure you clean with something that will remove grease. You can use alcohol to remove the petroleum based cleaner if you plan on shooting black powder or substitutes.

Overall, I think you'll like your Impact. It's not a looker, but it shoots just fine.

I sold my cva optima only for 2 reason
Too long LOP
Weight a little to heavy
I was thinking in going with a Thunderhawk
But it will not handle BH209
I had one sorry I sold it.

Been looking at one here. Haven't read anything too negative. Gave my Traditions to my older son many deers ago and have had a falling out with my poor boy flinter and my Renegade. For a couple hundred, it just might be the thing that gets me going again. I do have piles of bullets to play with.

Looks not important
As long as she is a tack driver is important.
I forgot to mention I did handle a CVA wolf the other day I did not like it a little on the heavy side

Finally gun came in looks ok to me
Trigger I would say 3 3/4 trigger gauge no creep at all breals like glass.
Fiber optic a plus.
I ran a patch douwn the bore mint bore not sure if it going to run tight .
My choice will be BH209
250 bonded bullet Yello sabot
XTP 240 gr mag with MMP 24 black sabot.
I think the gun will serve me well during the last 10 days of black powder season
