Has anyone had a hunting camp where the guests obeyed the rules?

What I've found whether it be hunting, fishing, camping or taking motorcycle trips cross country. Someone can be the best of friends at work, for an evening of cards or even on the same bowling/softball team. Spend a few days with them and you find out who and what they really are. Kinda like being college roommates with friends from High School. I have really good friends where I don't mind taking a day ride of 150-200 miles with, but I learned that once off the bike, they can turn into whiny little characters and while they won;t take the lead, will complain about the roads and all the stops you make. In small quantities, I can tolerate them. More than a day at a time not so much. My son has a nice cabin on some neat property not far from where we live. It's surrounded by beautiful riding country, great canoeing and hiking, hunting and fishing. My wife and I have built a nice little cabin there too. It didn't take long to figure out who to invite for a weekend and who not. Wanna come down and shoot all my ammo at our range, drink all the good whiskey and eat all the food without contributing anything at all but grief? Don't expect to be asked again.

I had many friends who would bring a 1.75Liter bottle of booze and leave the bottle with about half. Then my old friend Matt brought a half liter of Canadain Club on a Friday. It was an on purpose leave no little bit left. On the last night, he had drank it up and expected me to give him some Seagrams 7 for a few mixers. On Saturday, we went into town for a Lions club event. He went to the hot dog building, came back with a dog for me and said: "that a buck fifty." I could barely not laugh out loud. It must cost $60 in gas to drive back and forth and he needs my buck for expenses.

Members can bring a guest, and they are responsible to make sure they follow the rules. If they don't, they have 30 days to remove their property.
