Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Went to the Fort Worth Gun Show today.

Observed: We gun folk talk about shooting to MOA, but we can't seem to park any better than minute-of-truck.

Hey, that hurts. My 3/4 ton Dodge Ram doesn't turn on a dime. It needs a wide lane to get into a standard parking space.

Yeah, and you'll be one of the few who even tries to get into just the one space.
Nice 25 minute drive over, then 45 minutes to get a parking place.

And, there were a number of people , who, had they fit into just the one space, could have let more people park. Then, in the garage, a whole slew of people wh could not pull all the way into a space.

But, not a horrible show--even if I spent most of my time at the Lone Star knife table.

Colt AR-15A4 ordered on Friday, should be here on Tuesday. Also have a LaRue MTB trigger on the way for it.

Ha!

Went to the Fort Worth show on Saturday.

No parking in the big main lot or the garage on that side of the street. Ended up parking on the far side of the livestock barns.

I live in Weatherford, and like my long time home of Old East Dallas before, folks that drive giant trucks can’t park any better out here than they could there.

Totally stealing “minute of truck” from you.

Especially at the Gibson’s.

My Tacoma is usually inside the lines...

To stay on topic, the show was WAY busier than the last few I attended, and I ended up selling two guns, buying one, and walking out with more cash than I walked in with (likely a first).

Oh yeah, gun related purchases...

Bought the actual gun on Saturday (Glock 42), finally went to Academy this evening to grab some ammo.

Haven’t owned a .380 in years.

Once home, jumped online and ordered a holster and some Talon grips for the tiny Glock.

Also took a chance and ordered a leather OWB holster for my 1903.

How bought reloading stuff in an estate sale. This stuff included four molds. Included also was an progressive reloader and bullet sizer. This mess got all my gun money for the time being. The best was to buy reloading gear is second hand.

Had to have a pre-owned NIB Ruger SR1911CMD Would have been fun to find the 9mm version but that doesn’t make this one any less of anything.

Whenever I see Commander length 1911s that aren’t Kimber or an import then I generally take a closer look.

Reeds Family Outdoor Outfitter’s is having a big sale on rimfire ammo.
The WSM ammo was $7.99
The HMR $5.49
And the 22 Mag was $6.24
No tax and free shipping over $100
