Was just on Cabela's website and they have the FART for $99.99. It says backorder but WOW! that's the best price I've ever seen.
I wonder if it will backorder at $100?Was just on Cabela's website and they have the FART for $99.99. It says backorder but WOW! that's the best price I've ever seen.
Estimated ship date 0-1 week. If I didn't have one I'd be ordering.I wonder if it will backorder at $100?

I needed one. It let me back order at the $99.99 price and free shipping. I guess my harbor freight tumbler will be a backup or used for small batches.
IMO it’s worth itI just got a Harbor freight tumbler for $45. I'm wondering if i should make a return? I don't shoot a heck of a lot so really don't need the large capacity but the longevity and possible large batches maybe worth it?
I was in the same boat. Dual drum harbor freight one does ok for me but there was times when I had larger batches of rifle brass to clean. Too many in the dual drum and they don't agitate well. At this price, I will be happy to have it when it is needed.I just got a Harbor freight tumbler for $45. I'm wondering if i should make a return? Midway has free HazMat over $150 in powder and primers, good through the end of March, with code OFFER18203

I generally shoot 100 rounds at a time, so I just save up the dirty brass until I have enough to do a load. There is an economy of scale to wet tumbling, it doesn’t take much more time to process 1000 pieces than it does to process 100 pieces. My store has a few in stock. Idk if I want to mess with the larger FART over the smaller HF. I only shoot 50-100rds at a time. I’ll probably end up with the FART!

In the product description it states 5lb of stainless media included. The item number is 218807 on cabelas website.
The one for sale on the website is the full size one. Maybe it's on-line only?
I kind of feel like im highjacking this so ill stop with my rant. lol.The picture and description is for the full size one. I kept screen shots of in just in case. I better get the full size model. I did not even see the compact version on their web site.
I take it that’s the original link that was posted a few days ago? When I search it on Cabela’s website and click your link it shows $179 for the price and not $99Here's the original link, which is the kit. https://www.cabelas.com/product/PLATINUM-SERIES-ROTARY-TUMBLER-L/1811194.uts?slotId=2
The Frankford Arsenal # for the kit (Platinum Series Rotary Tumbler 7L) is 909544 and for the Tumbler Lite is 1097878.
