Best Glock for Range use and Occasional Carry ?

Glock 22 is more comfortable in .40 than the 23. The 23 has too much blast and too little weight. Glock 17 is great as well since it is same as 22. I havent' fired the Glock 19 but I have 30 Luger on the glock 19 platform. I use Glock 22 mags with the X Grip pad in the G19/23 so I can use higher cap magazines... The Glock 19/23 feels great but I was not impressed with shooting. Too much blast for my wife, and I didn't like it, punishing on my hands. I believe the G19 (9mm) is much better on that platform. The 30 Luger is sweet to shoot so I imagine the 9mm is fine... I carry the 22 with a belt clip - Mexican Carry, very comfortable.

The ideal gun is a 19 with the 26 grip frame, but Glock hasn’t had the good sense to sell that combo yet. Call it the 26Y and the acolytes will be lined up around the block.

I like the Glock 26 for deep concealment. ...and if you want a bigger grip, use a bigger mag like a 19/17 mag .
They make adapters for bigger /better grip as well. Use those for plinking, then go back to the 10 round for ccw
The 26 is more versatile

Jealousy is poison. :p Haha

I owned a G19. Sold it. Grip’s too short for me.
I like the grip length of the 17. I had a 34 that I sold. I regret that.

Have your friend try a 19X or a G45. I have both. Love em.

The 17L with the 16" barrel is my every day EDC.

Appendix carry?

On a more serious note, if I was carrying on duty I would want to match the duty weapon as close as possible.
