Steiner 5-25x56 1st focal plane on sale at B&H

I looked through one of these. That’s a lot of scope for the money

I actually own one currently. I haven’t even shot with it yet because ive been building the rifle it is supposed to go on, and is too much scope for a hunting rifle.

I was tempted to get the 3-15 for my needs, as I hover around 15x at range anyway. Though as with any scope, going to max magnification does not lend to optimum picture quality so I’ve heard

But....but....but....anybody that spends more than $200 on a scope is just wasting their money. After all, everyone knows they’re all the same.

Had warranty issues with a pair of Steiner Binoculars a few years ago, They told me to pack sand. I will never buy another Steiner product again.

That’s disappointing to hear. I have a pair of their bino’s (same model I was issued in the army).

Good customer service is a standard in the optics industry and any company that falls short of that really stands out, in a bad way.

I’m curious to know the details @cagwp

I really liked the bino's too, even offered to pay for some of the service to fix the issue. They refused.

I’m not sure if you made the purchase or not, but mine is still NIB. Has the lifetime warranty etc. It’s too much scope for my needs and I could use the money. I’d sell it for $1450 if you were interested, and you wouldn’t be subject to sales tax like b&h

I bought them because I knew how rugged they were. I’m still curious about why they wouldn’t warranty them

I looked at a Steiner 1-5 about a month ago. It had good glass. I'd love to see the 5-25.
