Do you have unusually good eyesight?

No. From about age nine (9), I was near-sighted (myopic). As I passed through "middle-age", the far-sightedness (presbyopia) that people tend to develop as they age essentially canceled out the near-sightedness leaving me with nearly 20:20 vision. BUT, I still have enough of an astigmatism that I have to have corrective lenses to shoot (if I hope to actually hit anything).

My vision was 20/14 in my left and 20/12 in my right eye into my mid 30s, which was the last time I had my eyes checked. I'm almost 50 now and about 20/20 in both eyes, I stood on the line and read the chart to myself a year or so ago. I don't recall the term for it but my eyes are very sensitive to bright light and I have *extremely* good night vision, far better than anyone else I've ever known. I can read in light so dim most people can barely see the book. I imagine having sharp vision only helped my shooting but the light sensitivity can be a negative during the day. I have to wear sunglasses whenever I'm outside in daylight, regardless of the weather. I don't see things that are back-lit by bright light as well as other people and fiber optic sights are so bright compared to the target in most situations that I hate and would never own them. In total darkness the amount of light reflected off a white wall from my TLR-3 pistol light (170 lumens) is actually painful and I should probably put a red filter on it. I don't even look at high output lights, they're painfully bright and therefore useless to me. The upside is of course I don't need a bright light! In fact, it's probably silly that I have a weapon light at all. I've never once pointed a gun at something and not been able to see the sights and the target. I have Trijicon night sights on my carry gun that are 12 years old and getting dim, but they're still plenty bright enough for me! :)
