They have pretty good prices on powder and primers which are hard to find around here and pricey lately.

Win Small Pistol 5000 $132, Powders prices looked good too. I got 5000 spp and a pound of powder.

1 cent Hazmat and free shipping on $150

I've no connection to Brownells except as a customer. Primers in particular have gone through the roof around here, perhaps other places as well. So 2.6 cents / primer delivered is a good deal these days. I guess. Back in the day we got them for $6.80 / thousand.

Thanks for the heads up. That is a very good deal on primers.

Last batch I got was iffy. They were S&B I got 10k of small rifle. Very hard and would not go off every time.

I see the Win primers are on sale, but how did you manage the $0.01 hazmat fee? It's still coming up as ~$20 for me (I did add some powder to the cart just to bring me over $150 in case that was the trick, but no luck...).

I saw this yesterday and realized I'm broke. New lesson is to keep a few hundred dollars on hand for the next flash sale.

It was only a one day deal. It ended Tuesday at midnight. My son and I picked up some powder we needed. Good deal and it'll be on my porch Monday.

That explains it - thanks for setting me straight!

I bought 2 4# jugs of powder; with MDX code I also got $10 off, free shipping and .01 hazmat

They had a similar deal about a month ago. I loaded up on powder and primers then. Free hazmat and shipping cinch the deal.

I usually dont buy powder and primers online because of it. That deal actually saves me the $50 in gas it costs me if I have to make a special trip down to the place I usually buy them.

Best thing to do is sign up with them for email alerts. I got one from them on Tuesday with the deal. I think the last one was only good for a day too, so it pays to pay attention and jump on it.

Sometimes Natchez has a similar deal, but its usually just for the hazmat.

Pays to be on the different mailing lists though.

With proper planning, your powder and primer supply should never get "low", it just gets 'replenished' when a good sale comes along. In the current political 'gun turmoil' there will be another 6 to 9 months of low priced sales on reloading supplies because distributors have an excess supply and manufacturers are facing low demands. Fortunately my 5 year plan is to shoot up my on-hand ammo inventory, consume my powder and primer supply, sell the brass, and enjoy shooting 22 LR. No more brass to pick up, no more reloading, and no more 5K rounds of available ammo to shoot. That supply of lead ingots is going to take some work though.
