Well I was going to warn you about not reading GunnyUSMC posts and looking at the pictures of his builds but I am too late.
The Dalai Gunny is the chief inspiration of spreading the AR addiction on THR. His contribution to boosting the sales of AR's in our country is yet to be measured.
In 2016 I brought four stripped lowers as a political protest against HRH and to boost my retirement plan. Well a co-worker convinced me that it was my duty to build a AR and with my plan to become rich shattered by flipping the lowers when Trump won I have become more and more interested in AR's. However I am continued my political protest by buying another lower last year before the November elections. I will be continuing my protest for the 2020 Presidential elections. As it is going to be a tight election I may have to do a lot of protesting. Let's see...there is Socialist Sanders, Shotgun Biden, Executive Action Harris, License All Gun Owners Booker. Whew!
I have built two and have the parts for two more builds tucked away. My plan is to spread the addiction to my kids by having them help build them when they come home for a visit.
I also have a fifth lower that I have not decided what to do with yet. It's madness.
Oh don't forget the magazines and ammunition. I recommend 11 magazines (one in gun and ten spare) and 1,000 rounds of ammunition. Ten magazines fit neatly in a 50 caliber surplus ammo can and 1,000 rounds of .223 / 5.56 fill another 50 caliber can.
