I will miss his posts, and the PM's with him over the years. He always told it as he saw it, never sugar coated it, and it behooved one to take any advice he gave.

Honest and blunt to a fault. He had a gift for being able to call someone out on their errors or attitude without incurring rancor or further drama. His gun articles and reviews were some of the best in the business. We were blessed to have him here, for far too short a time.

Denis seemed like the type to give more than he received. He was a straight-shooter, direct, and polite in our messages. The world needs more like him.
