Two, my 4" nickle plated Model 29 Smith. The other would be my HK USP Compact in 45 ACP. I don't plan on waving either of them around. These guns would not be for show.

Anything short and brutal looking, preferable caliber of .4-ending in 4 letter word.....

I honestly have no idea, I've never intentionally had a gun pointed at me so have little frame of reference.
Gaping holes do seem to be intimidating tho.

It started out as a 6 1/2" .45ACP target competition revolver and became the perfect "fighting" handgun, IMHO. IF the bad guy grabs the barrel, he'll let go quick as the front sight (filed razor sharp) get ripped from his hand. An ER visit for sure, and it groups in one ragged hole at ten yards standing + the smoothest single and double-action trigger pulls I've ever encountered. I've won steel matches against a big field of 1911 shooters before with this one.

Lotta good gun porn here. The scariest gun I've ever seen was the business end of a .22.
