Building AKs is fun. I am very happy with my AMD65 that I built. I am sure you will have a nice rifle when finished. Please post some pics.

I'm thinking I may keep the nitride barrel from Windham Weaponry as a spare and get a chf nitride barrel.

The krebs rear peep arrived today.

Well I ordered the us made cold hammer forged nitride barrel from AK builder this morning. I'll keep the Windham weaponry as a spare!

That is a very nice looking AK ! You can be proud of that one. Have you made it to the range yet?

Yes it's very accurate. This is rapid fire the ones spread out to the left and the ones dead center are slow fire.

25 yards with red dot.

That windham barrel shoots real nice. I decided after talking to troy Sellars to go with the windham nitride instead of the ak builder chf nitride. Troy apparently worked side by side with windham designing that barrel when he worked at ddi.

I initially had trouble with the red star arme trigger bump firing. I took it back up to troy and he adjusted the sear engagement and re loctited everything. It's worked flawless since.

That's a 1000 lumen fenix pd35 light in multicam.

I also initially had trouble with sighting the red dot in. I took the screws out of the rs regulate akml upper mount and red loctited them to the lower mount. I readjusted the cam lock for a tighter fit and blue loctited the red dot to the akml mount. It then only took 5 shots to sight it in.
