Who’s also a big Bren Ten fan?

Couldn’t afford one if I saw it... but I love the 10. I especially like the bren ten for its rugged but very function driven aesthetics. The blues gun is beautiful... the “compact” is a beautiful gun but next to each other... it’s like Ginger or Maryanne. I’m picking Maryanne.

This pistol is much like the unicorn. I've never seen one in the wild (and I've frequented gun shows and gun shops around the country for only about the last forty years or so).

I did see the gun wielded by Don Johnson in the old Miami Vice series, and aside from a couple old issues of Guns and Ammo, that's my experience of the pistol.

I notice the OP isn't displaying any pics showing all his extra magazines for his Bren Tens …

Nevertheless, I do agree that there is a certain coolness factor associated with this gun …

I don't think extra mags exist anywhere...I remember seeing mangazines for BREN Tens in Tucson WAY back in the day listed at $400 each, but I might be wrong, it was a long time ago.Beautiful guns, wouldn't mind shooting one sometime

A very nice brace of Bren Tens you've got there, especially like the Special Forces Model!

That's two more than I have ever seen at countless gun shows over the years!

That wouldn’t surprise me given the role that the lack of magazines played in the demise of the company.

I want to say I saw one listed for $300 a few years ago. I was baffled. Then I started Googling.

I believe towards the end, the company was shipping guns without a magazine but they did promise to send one as soon as they could

Yes, the magazines did the company in. There were other issues, but the mags were the biggest problem.

Extra? I'm lucky I have one for each gun. ;)

Yupe.

From what I read the Bren Ten was not developed into a reliable pistol. It frequently failed to feed from the magazine. And then the company was under capitalized. What I read sounded similar to a Ponzi scheme, they did not have enough money to pay vendors, and so they started shipping pistols to cash customers promising to send the magazine later. At that point, I would have pulled my money if I had sent money, assuming I could. Shipping a pistol without all its parts is a clue that something is very seriously wrong with the company.

It is hard to understand how they could have failed given that a very popular TV character was using one of their pistols every week on the show. Because of that show this pistol still is recognizable.

It is a looker and I am also surprised that it was never reproduced.
