I came across a Hi Power that's in great condition for $800 and am being told it's the 3D model. I haven't heard of that. Was there such a model?

Edit: I'm being told it's the same as a P35 and it's NIB. Is $800 a good price for it?

Never mind. It looks like this is a scam. The seller is supposedly located close to me but won't do a face to face sale or meet somewhere in his area so I can see the gun. He's using broken English and wants me to pay without seeing it and promises to ship it to my FFL.

Yeah scammers are a treat. Sounds like a craigslist scammer moved into firearms.

Glad they acted quickly and you avoided getting ripped off!

Any decent HiPower around here will be in the $7-800 range. Occasionally CDNN, Classic Arms, or Century will have cosmetically challenged examples for a bit less.

Hope you find one you like, they are sweet shooters!

Thanks. I bought one recently from WVSig. I like it so much I'm looking for a second one.

I’ve worked on HiPowers and have always wanted one but still looking. Good luck on your search!

I would hope that since it’s a scam involving firearms that Armslist would notify the ATF. Maybe they might make an example of the scammers if they catch them.
No one else in the government or federal law enforcement seems to be able to put a dent in this crap.

This kind of stuff happens all the time on Armslist. It is ripe with scams. Unless the person is local and will meet in person it is not worth pursing. IMHO. That said I have gotten some decent deals off of Armslist when I live in KY. A lot depends on your local area.

On a positive note, I was at the range with one of my sons today shooting my Hi Power, among other guns. I like it more each time I shoot it.
