Ruger I'd like to see.

I want to see someone actually make a 9mm length cylinder and frame for a revolver rather than just run 9mm chambers into a 357 Magnum length cylinder and frame. Not holding my breath on that one.

It will be interesting to see if Ruger makes a 9mm version of the new 8-shot Super GP100 to compete with S&W 929 and its reign over USPSA Revolver division.

I agree with Dave T, 9mm in a revolver is at its best in snubs and competitive shooting events with large frames and long, ported barrels.

There are several other things I'd rather see, if strictly revovler, I'd rather see the LSR, a GP100 sized LCR. Too much focus with revolvers is with lightweight snubs, but once you go above J frames, then it seems interest in lighter weight drops. Scadium is what Smith uses to lighten the weight of their larger revolvers, but they cost a lot. Ruger could bring an LSR out that weighs as much as a Scandium framed gun and price it at $500 easy. Imagine a GP100 size revolver that weighs as much as an SP101 and costs less too.

Would also rather see .327 3" LCRx, but some .32 H&R Mag LCR's built on the Aluminum .38 frame too. The Al frames the .38 is built on seem to be cheaper as most .38 LCR's I see are well under $400 new, if given the choice of around $375 for a .32 Mag LCR vs $500 for a .327 LCR, I'll take the .32 Mag in a heartbeat.

.45 Colt Redhawks in barrels longer than 4 inches would be nice. Help up the velocity with the "Ruger only" loads.

A .454 Casull Regular Redhawk from the factory cut for moonclips for ACP loads. Also want the gun to have a worked trigger and be able to use the moon clips that comparable Smith and Wesson .45 N frames do. We were so close with the .45 Colt/ACP Redhawk I just think they should've went to full .454 casull and the moonclips they utilize are pretty expensive which isn't conducive to a high volume shooter and yes I want this revolver to handle literally everything from defending home and hearth from varmints to defending from large predators.

I also could go for a GP100 in a .41 Magnum chambering. That would help make up for the Model 57 and Model 58 I sold in my misguided youth!

I would like to see this too, especially as a top-break revolver, with either a Webley or a Hopkins & Allen style top latch. 9mm Para is not much longer than 38 S&W, and the power is not excessive, I think. Although as I understand it, the slightly tapered case is not good for revolvers. 38 Super might work better, but it is not popular enough.

(Probably the real objection to such a revolver in 9mm Para is that 9mm automatics with plastic frames are thinner, lighter, cheaper to make, hold more shots, and can be fired and reloaded faster. Oh, well, it was nice until I actually thought about it.)

Hmmmm, an extension/addition to the Ruger "wishlist " thread. Said it before and I'll say it again, the LSS. Lightweight Speed Six. A medium sized six shot LCR(x). Or seven shot .327, etc. Make mine a 9mm.

And this coming from a guy who always hated plast.......er, polymer guns. At least until I got my LCRx in 9mm. Barrels no less than 2 3/4. Also needs that cammed trigger.

To me, that'd be the perfect woods walking revolver, even if it's only a 5 shot when you consider the balance of weight and size vs power. I suppose the creation of the S&W M69 probably ruined that possibility for us though.

The wait for a model of this type has pushed me into the 10mm auto world, and I'm getting to where I'm gust going to accept that as my best woods gun by default. It is NOT equivalent to a 41 mag though.

The current GP100 10mm Auto reamed to 10mm Magnum would give your 41 Mag a run for it's money on thick robust moonclips.
