Way to go!!!!!
It is but it is sitting at a gun range so as long as it's paid in full (it is) I can visit and shoot it. Just can't take it homeIgnore the rusty spots, just clean and oil that up and go shooting, in CA is it still a 10 day wait?
There is a model 29 of similar vintage and even better shape for 1k.If you hadn't bought it, I was going to tell you to put a hold on it and I'll come up to buy it. I don't even need another one, but I could always use it as a back up to my patch gun
Nice find!I just plunked down 500 for a 66-1 here in Ca., so your deal isn’t bad at all.
Nice find!
Stay safe.
As my competition revolver mentor used to say, "Try the Miculek grips," but then added, "People either love them or hate them...there is no middle-ground"Now I need to figure out what holster and grips to put on her.
Suggestions?
I have lady sized hands but prefer slightly bigger grips to slightly smaller grips
Always wanted to try them. Now I have a great excuse! As my competition revolver mentor used to say, "Try the Miculek grips," but then added, "People either love them or hate them...there is no middle-ground"
FWIW: All the top tier IDPA revolver shooters are using the Miculek grips
That sounds great! If you really don't like them, I'll buy them from you after you've tried them for a while.
If we shoot the same match, in the near future, I'll let you try my 686 competition revolver
Some of those spots are going to be hard to reach with a penny. I would go oiled 0000 steel wool, followed by chrome polish on a Dremel with a buffing wheel at low speed. Should turn out great either way!
Almost always the 4th Sundays for IDPA, trying to make the 2nd Sundays for ICORE.That sounds great!
You make it up to gridley still?
Will see if I can make it!Almost always the 4th Sundays for IDPA, trying to make the 2nd Sundays for ICORE.
I'll be there on the 23th
That's what I figured, just double checkingSmooth
Assuming the you plan to use a strong hand reload technique
