CZ Rami or HK P2000SK?

I have both the Rami and the P2000sk.

Both are good guns, both are very carryable., I'd say the HK is a little more refined and shoots a little better, IMO. The Rami stings my trigger figure, don't know why, but it isn't a deal breaker. CZ magazines have higher capacities available if you care about such matters.

My Rami did that too. If I fired a few hundred rounds (heavy range day), it would go from sting to slightly numb. I changed my trigger pull technique, which helped, but I recall some folks (like me) can be really sensitive to the sting. There is a work-around, but for the reasons I noted earlier, I moved on. Again, the pistol was super reliable and I shot it very well. Just not for me in the long run...

Just to note that I'm CA roster limited.

Yep, likewise

I really like my P2000.

I like my own P2000, I never warmed to the RAMI, they had problems with bulges along the frame rails on some of the polymer framed models, but these are out of production anyway, I only see alloy framed RAMI’s.

I really like my CZ P-01 a lot better. If you can find a Sig P239 or P6 I’d also look at one of these, I have one of each myself. The Sigs are still CA rostered but are out production anyway. Between the CZ P-01 and Sig P239, I’m glad I own both.

I will say that I liked the Sig 224. I had a nichel one for a while. I was looking forward to that as a carry gun. But, while it was Glock 26 sized, it weighed damn near as much as a fullsize Beretta 92FS. I have Si joint problems on my right side, and it caused me hip pain to carry the gun. I ended up having to sell it.

The 224 never took off, though. It is now discontinued, but I bet you could still find one someplace.

If not for the weight, I liked it. It was just long enough that I could get all my fingers onto the gun grip.

Might want to consider a LEM trigger. Sorry, I know I say that in like every HK thread that comes up, but I really like it.

After trying one I really never wanted to buy another HK hammer gun without it.

LEM is the only trigger I don't detest on HKs.

OP:. Get a Glock...

Kidding!

Between the two I'd go with the HK if I could find a LEM trigger. DA/SA? I'd take the CZ

I have P2000 DA/SA chambered in .40SW and P2000 SK LEM in 9mm. The .40 is a bit better to shoot as it is more accurate and the trigger is teflon smooth. The LEM tigger on the 9mm is perfect for carry (in my opinion) but i wish the grip was a bit longer. Shorter trigger reset would be good to have.....

On a side note, I picked up a factory 357 sig bbl to swap out w the 40SW. Totally reliable switching between calibers using the same spring - so far.

If money is not an issue I would go for the HK P-2000SK or the P-30SK, I mostly carry a P-2000SK in .40
