Just passing along this info. Cleaned 3 rimfire rifles this morning with KG-1 Carbon remover followed by KG-12 Copper solvent. It's the easiest cleaning job I've ever done and my rifles are gleaming. Someone on this site suggested KG-12, but couldn't find the post to thank him. So here's my gratitude. THANK YOU.

I see those highly recommended form time to time, and I keep meaning to try some, and I keep putting it off somehow.............

Will have to be on the lookout for these gun cleaning products.

Thanks for the tip!

In my experience, Bore Tech products (especially Eliminator) cleans copper, lead and residue with the same efficiency - very fast with little effort - the chemical and not scrubbing action does the work all with zero odor.
I get a lot of old school pushback for liking and using this product - as I should continue to use the old, smelly, scrub intense stuff - I used to embrace that old stuff, not anymore.

And, BTW, it is recommended that you use a nylon bore brush. I did and it works really well. No odor and no warning labels like ammonia based products.
