I'm considering converting my nearly new 1990's vintage Benelli from pistol grip to a straight stock, using Benelli parts. There is a Benelli stock set (part 60516) from the company website - and it's even reasonably priced at $80. Is this a drop in for the 90's era gun? Thank you!

I have a super 90 m1 slug gun (rifle sights, NOT ghost ring) that came with that (60516) stock. The comb hight on that stock is for ghost ring sights and made the rifle sights unusable. No problem I thought, I'll just get a shim kit. The shim kit DOESNT work with that stock. I had to buy a super 90 field stock in order to shim it down enough to use the rifle sights. If you have ghost ring sights that stock should work. But if you have rifle sights you may need a field stock. Hope this helps.
