I'm trying to come up with an honest reason, why I should buy one! Swiped the photo off a CZ Forum. I've held and examined one at a local gun shop. Pretty much the same quality as most CZs. Feels like a small brick, heavy, but it also has that good feel like a CZ. 10 rounds is more than sufficient, and the extended pinky makes it easy to grab. Now the minus, it's small but not that much smaller than my 75 Compact. Thoughts appreciated before I blow another $500 bucks. Thanks... h5k3gteds3a31 (2).jpg

They are nice guns. If I didn't own an HK P30SK, which fills the same size and capacity role for me, I would buy one. I find the compact nature of my Sig P938 Legion kind of makes the Rammi a bit irrelevant also, but you do lose two rounds going that small.

I had to make a similar decision. If you are going to carry the RAMI with extended magazine, get the P01 instead.

The P01 is a lot lighter than the all metal 75 compact. It's equipped with a rail. And similar enough in size to the RAMI with the extended mag.

I had the decocker version. With the 10 round mag, it is by far the worst pinky dangle I’ve experienced on a subcompact...worse than the Glock 26, P30sk, PPQc, etc... With the larger mag, I might as well have had my PCR. It’s a very uncomfortable shooter....from a guy who is a CZ fan. Get a PCR or P-01.

I have a theory... Probably just silly superstition on my part with no facts to back it up with: "given two guns with the same brand..and same caliber.. the smaller version is more likely to have problems than the bigger version."

I consider the RAMI as a smaller version of the PCR or P01. While both have good reviews....I felt more confident buying the P01 over the RAMI. That's not to say that I would turn down a RAMI as a nice Christmas present to myself. (Hmmm. ...yes I realize it's only July. Can't hurt to plan ahead.)

I miss my CZ, but it was a PCR.
I like the Rami, but when I was shopping around I decided is was on the small end for a compact but a little too big for a pocket.
The PCR is only a hair larger and at the time was cheaper and actually available. And it was a choice I'd make again.

Thank you very much. Your response is quite interesting!
