I’m reopening this thread with this warning. Any post that is not related to the seminar will get the member some time on the sidelines. You guys can discuss the current controversy in General Discussion. We won’t discuss it here. I’m not going to issue any warnings, this is the only one you will get. The rest of the staff is aware and backing the reopening of this thread.

This new Expo in Fort Worth appears to be a reboot of the cancelled Carry Guard Expo in Richmond, last year. Last year I was within driving distance of Richmond, and had my ticket and hotel all set. The impending hurricane along Virginia coast caused that Expo to be cancelled. Now, I've moved and am in driving distance for Ft. Worth, so am planning to attend this version.

Heads up - the hotel reservation system through NRA works like last years's, so DO NOT USE IT!. Here is the cancellation policy, from the bottom of one of the NRA reservation pages:

CANCEL POLICY
Beginning July 31, 2019, NRA Housing will charge a cancellation fee of $75 for any cancelled reservation. This cancellation fee will appear on your credit card statement as Convention Services, Folsom, CA, NRA’s housing management company.

A deposit of one night’s room and tax is required by your hotel, and you may see the charge on your credit card as early as August 15, 2019.

So, make your hotel reservations directly with your preferred hotel. There are a bunch within walking distance of the Ft Worth Convention Center, including affiliates of Marriott (BonVoy), Hilton, Omni, and others. Regular reservations usually allow you to cancel up to a day or two prior to the arrival date.

Hope this works out!

Just bought my ticket.. The "print your own" ticket option (add $4.50 to cost for them to mail one to you) has a company called ETix email you a link to the unique bar coded ticket. Reading the mail in a browser shows just a file with bar code you have to print.
However, reading the same mail and link on an iPhone allows you to save the ticket to Apple Wallet

Update on the schedule: the main site appears to now have rooms and times for the free seminars.
