Will be very interesting to see exactly which model is shipped. The old Tall Red Base or the new Flat base that is shared with the new Value Turret and ABLP.

Update, Of the two I ordered, they canceled one and shipped the other. So, if you followed the timeline above, when @LiveLife initially posted the item was unavailable then that's likely when it became unavailable and when I placed my second order it was actually out of stock.

Props to Buffalo Gap Outfitters for honoring their price. There appear to be holes in Amazon's software ordering system that made the product become available when it wasn't (likely that's because their various cloud centers were not yet updated).

The Magic of retail, items are always a great price when out of stock.

Kinda like Black Fridays sales.

Interested to know exactly WHAT shipped.

The Amazon picture is of the old style press which I would have been happy with because I wanted the powder measure, case feeder, dies and the other goodies that came with it.
I had no intention of trying to load on the old style press. I already have one, I would have bought another ABLP for loading 32s on and put the goodies on it.

They were off the market by the time I saw the post. I was smoking a brisket at the time and wasn't paying attention to the forum. :(
Oh well. can't win them all.

Tri Tip for me .... mmmmmmmmmmm < drool >

Yes, really curious which press will be shipped. The pre-2018 model with red base or post-2018 model with flat base.

Excitement building for $32 dollar Pro 1000 kit.

Wow!

Received my shipment today.

Instead of the reloading press they sent a Lee Quick Trim Die in .26 Nosler ... :(

I've requested a refund.

What? How about giving the vendor a call?

I hit the button on Amazon, and filled out the boxes that I received the wrong item. It started out as a request to the vendor to respond and then turned into a request for refund. The vendor must have set it up that way.

Well, we all thought it was too good to be true. ;)

I am sure it was a mistake on the vendor's part of posting complete Pro 1000 kit at $32 shipped.

I contacted Amazon and they set me up with an email to the seller. I also left the seller with a 1 star rating. I know from previous experience that I can remove the rating if the seller complies.

Almost sounds like the seller sent an inferior, less-valuable product, so they can say that they do not have any of the proper item, can simply issue a refund, and have no liability for their mistake.

Yes and they will get severely negative reviews, I may even buy some cheap dollar items and spank them some more. This seems deliberate to me. If they just came out and cancelled the order and admitted the mistake that would be one thing but to ship some strange item to me and act like nothing is wrong makes me mad.

Now now, following mistakes with more mistakes won't be "High Road" ;)

I think just focusing on your transaction should be enough. If the vendor made a mistake and posted the wrong item for $32 and THEN shipped another product, you can clearly state that in your review/comment of the vendor. I am sure people reading your review/comment will get the clear picture as to what happened.

I haven't gotten anything yet
I will say that when I got the "shipped notice" email, I clicked on the tracking thing and the Amazon window that opened had a pic of some sort of die.
I clicked on "view order" and a pic of the press with the description appeared.
With that image of a die and what others have posted, I'll probably be getting a die too.
If so I'll be going the "wrong item received" route too, to get my money back.
:scrutiny:
:(

Well my .26 Nosler die came LOL.

I figure this seller is probably new to Amazon and fat fingered a part/item number. As long as they give me a full refund I give them the benefit of the doubt.
