Me, either, for values of "readily available." Might call for special order or gunsmith intervention. But I don't know of anything that would require new tooling up like a .22 Broomhandle.

I really don't know that you could do a real Broomhandle (locked breech) with a .22. There's quite a lot of mass to move there in that barrel and bolt. I haven't crunched any numbers, but... it seems that you might need a wee bit more oomph than a .22 LR to cycle reliably. But it wouldn't keep me from trying if I had a mind to!

A revolver where the cylinder gap is sealed at lockup with a sleeve actuated my an electric servo motor. Electric motors and batteries are super reliable nowadays and the system can simply shut off on low battery conditions without affecting the reliability of the revolver.

Been saying it for years. But a updated pistol in 762x25 or 9x18. Very fond of those rounds. Modern pistol with rails and night sights. Striker fired and more then 8 rounds

Confusion may have come from the 7.62x39 chambering mentioned in first post. Looks like the Tokarev round was what was intended, as noted in followup.

P938 with an all steel build and widened grip from front to back strap, designed to accommodate 38 Super. 3.5” barrel.

Also, an XDs in 38 Super. Frame is already big enough.

Agreed to the 7.62x25 in a polymer frame strikerfire pistol. I actually think there might exist a conversion barrel for a Glock. There for sure is a conversion barrel for 9x18 for one of the Glock models

There are 7.62 Tokarev barrels for G20 and 1911ish 9mm or .38.
Problem is, the OAL is too great for their magazines.
You can settle for a few rounds loaded at a slant, deep seat the bullets, or handload.
Install a stout striker or hammer spring, primers are tough.

I looked at converting a 9mm SA to 9mm Makarov, there was a heavy ball load on the market at the time, cheap, too. But the supply dried up, probably just one shipment.

Do you have a link for those barrels? Have not seen anything in a long time.

i have a uberti cattleman in 22 long rifle, 12 shooter. i wish they made the scofield smith in 22 long rifle 12 shooter. i also wish some one made the high standard super matic trophy again and made it in a quality hand gun.

I'll play....

1. Revive the S&W Model 16 in .32 S&W Long. 3Ts gun, 6 inch barrel. Sell them by subscription if you have to.

2. A quality repro of the Adams percussion revolver.

3. This one is the hard one...a striker-fired pistol with an electronic trigger. Hard because electronic triggers are just now being seen on self-loading .22 target pistols, there were reliability issues that are only now being solved. But you can get the sort of trigger that the best 1911 smiths can only dream of. Then stuff it into a striker-fired gun - that was designed with a mini red dot sight specifically in mind (meaning that the sight is mounted much lower in the slide, the only part protruding is the screen).

Chamber that model 16 in .327 FM and I'm in.

I hope I'm doing this reply correctly.
Yes I know Springfield makes them.
But they weigh a ton, extremely expensive, and well kind of ugly.
Ruger's would be more of an everyman's version. Plus there would probably be more options than Springfield too.
