Building a basic four gun, range collection with ammo for $2000 or under

I usually buy used guns but have picked up a few new most of the time I buy from a small local dealers that let me buy over time, however I have made a few purchases outright like a rem 870 express 12 ga and my psa AR. I never fired the 870 because I didn't want to reinjure my shoulder.

To try and keep within budget and meet ammo requirements here it goes.

Psa AR 15 5.56 upper and lower build kit 339.99 plus 75 for "poverty pony" lower.
Rem 870 20 ga shotgun Walmart 289.00 or a monster 500 in 20 ga for 254.
Rem 700 adl 308 win package rifle from Walmart 374.00.
Though I'm not a fan of striker fired pistols a s+w 2.0 in 9mm, 40 or 45 auto, I'm not sure on pricing.
On a real tight budget I'd substitute a heavy barrel savage axis II, an 11 or a 12 fv in lieu of the ar 15, only because 500 rounds of ammo would last longer in a bolt gun.

I had a Taurus pt 99 shot it well. A Beretta 92 by another name.

1. Compact poly 9mm of choice (Glock 19 vs sig p320, CZP07, SP2022, etc, etc)

2. Pump Shotgun (Benelli Nova vs 870/500)

3. .22 Rifle (10/22 vs other)

4. Centerfire Rifle (AR if you’re a plinker/defensive shooting kind of guy, bolt rifle if you’re into longer range/bigger game hunting, lever gun if you’re somewhere in between.)

Better to have one weapon and a safe. If you own a weapon, you need a safe.

For ammo, a bunch of brass, powder, primers and bullets to load the 357’s in either 38 or 357, and a bulk box of 22LR.

4 guns with ammo for $2k. Good riddle here:

Stoeger 12ga. O/U. $300
Glock 19 gen 3 or 4. $450
Ruger 22lr, Frontier (this is their new offering) $190
Savage Axis 11/111, 308 Winchester, with iron sights $500

Total Billing, firearms: $1440

Leaving $560 for ammo and a holster for the G19 and I'll make my own slings.
