San Francisco officials brand NRA a ‘domestic terrorist organization’

er so it continues...

State approved roster of handguns,

State approved ammunition purchases,

Record keeping requirements for sale of the above,

Of course waiting periods,

Red Flag laws,

Toss in Wal-Mart’s decision to cease sales of handgun and “short barrel” rifle ammunition.

California is conducting a experiment to see how many restrictions the Government can enact before gun owners rebel. From the looks of it they are pretty close to getting away with outright ban.

Since the NRA is now a “domestic terrorist organization” then NRA members are terrorists also. Will NRA members now be investigated by the Police and have their guns taken away until they can prove their loyalty to the Government? California has experience rounding up groups they do not like in W.W. 2 with Japanese-American citizens.

With all the problems that city has they waste their time on useless stuff like this. I buy into the theory that they do this <removed by moderator> as cover to draw attention away from the nightmare conditions in that city.
Ding, ding, ding for the win. If they keep ppl fired up about us evil gun owners. No one will look at what condition they are living in. Keep the masses focused on one singular target. Not the rampant drug use, poop in the streets, gangs, illegals, and corruption.

It's funny, because people are willing to pay unfathomable amounts of money to live in San Fran. The people out there think everyone in rural America is living in rustic squalor, and rural Americans think all urbanites are living in dystopian squalor.

The disconnect between the two is huge, and completely absurd. San Francisco is quite nice, although not without problems. Polk County, TN is also quite nice, although not without problems.

Unfortunately, we are losing the ability to accept that different people like different things and different ways of living. We're all becoming obsessed with making our chosen lifestyle and preferences "win," rather than focusing on how everyone's preferences can be accommodated peacefully.

-So now I'm a terrorist, too.
It wasn't enough to call me a racist, sexist, homophobe toxic male... .
Hence forth I am referring to you as Osama-bin-Waldo.

Mark Manson wrote a brief article about Americans living in a "state of outrage". It basically makes note that social media and the internet has given everyone a voice, and that the end result is we are inadvertently whipping each other up and spreading intolerance and discourse. And some do it intentionally for their own agendas. Not a new concept, and I only remember parts of the article, but I think he has a point, and he speaks to the younger generation well, though in a very basic and oft times crude way.

If you are a fan of the band TOOL, and haven't heard it yet, I recommend you listen to "Descending" and "Pneuma" off their new album Fear Inoculum. The entire album is great, but those two songs have pretty good messages about the degradation of society, and the need to recognize we are all one people.

Anyway, the NRA is no more a terrorist org than planned parenthood is. They are both fighting for rights they perceive to matter. How does a city declare anything like this? Are they going to run any offices or local chapters out of town? 1A mean anything at all? I used to say it'd take a six figure salary to get me to move there. Honestly now, I'd only go to northern Cali, and that salary better start with at least a 2.

The level of illogic is astounding.

I have lived in big city's like ATL, Nashville, and Richmond. Also lived in a tiny city in NC. It's night and day. Prefer to live in country. Alot slower paced. Crime is everywhere. Never stepped foot in Cali. Never will. If my guns are not welcome. My money is not welcome.

I didn't say they weren't different. They are. But there are people who each like them. That's OK. We all don't have to like the same things.

My cousin just moved from San Francisco to rural Idaho. He's lived there for about 30 years and is fully indoctrinated and brainwashed into thinking that the liberal political ideology is superior, despite having lived in and suffered through the effects of it.

I have no rational explanation as to how someone can witness the devastating effects of liberal policies so severe that it causes them to move to a conservative area, and then continue to support those policies that destroyed where they came from. It's mind-boggling.
