Finishing up the first run of my new Sidelever falling block action. It's a striker fired action with removeable and tuneable trigger group. It will adjust down to about 11 ounces of trigger pull. Designed with both the benchrest shooter and field use in mind. It's a bit smaller than a Ruger 1, and in the current size, will handle any rimmed cartridge up to 9.3X74R.

This action is ready to harden the internal components and polish every surface. It cocks, fires, extractor is timed and stout, safety works and it opens and closes like butter. I'll polish it up and get on to the next action. One at a time at this point

I do not have that kind of skill; I can only watch the magic. I have a bottom lever on my Shiloh Sharps that is cumbersome to work on bags at a bench position; your side action looks sleeker and faster. Please keep posted with your progress.

Amazing work.... and so many possibilities! Mated to an 18 or 20 inch slim taper barrel, chambered in 30-30, would make an excellent stalking rifle. Or, how about a 26" heavy barreled 222 Rem or 22-250 for your varminting pleasure? And perhaps my favorite idea, 22" sporter taper in 7x57 Mauser - an ideal all-round rifle. Stock any of them accordingly with nice walnut, maybe case color the actions, with sights or glass as you like. Oh, but to hit the Powerball! Again, beautiful work, sir!

I wanted a classic single shot rifle that was light and trim in a good caliber and I found it in a browning low wall in .260 caliber. it is a joy to carry and with my loads with a 129 gr bullet and imr-4350 or varget it puts three shots into moa or better. when I bought it it was at a good price, but since then prices for them have gone thru the roof.

A wonderful action indeed! Singles are for beauty, and yours overflows with it!

If the background of you photo is intended for the rifle in question, I long to see the result.

I enjoy most that your side lever leaves the lines of the underside of the rifle to break at the grip, rather than "earlier" on a No. One.

Truly gorgeous. I doubt I could afford one, but I, too, wonder how a human could aquire one.

That is beautiful! I would buy one just because. The side lever is so cool. Good Luck with your endeavor!

If y'all thought these pictures were nice, you'd better look at his pages!

It appears to me that Mr Bradshaw's ingenuity is eclipsed fully by his master skill of engraving. Deeper and more beautiful relief I have not seen on this side of the Atlantic.

Even if I could afford one, I couldn't make myself use it!

The Stainless Thirty beats my most expensive pistol by more than double. And it needs wood and a chamber yet!:)

Truly blessed, you make exquisite art pieces of unrivaled quality. Master peices.

Now I must ask myself, "Do I really want that boat?"
Boats depreciate, while these rifles will only become more valuable.

Thank you for sharing your passion and skill.

Those are a rifle to be proud of. The lines are beautiful and the workmanship is amazing.
If only I could justify buying one.

This one is 99% finished. Amazing what a good polish will do. Fully functional and ready to barrel. It will wear a Brux barrel and be chambered for the 6.5x65R cartridge. Very comparable to the 6.5-06 but with a rim. It also has an incredibly beautiful stock blank of curly Turkish walnut selected.

I will make a video that goes through all of the features and operation in the next day or so.

Very, very impressive. I have made five guns myself, from scratch. I have used 1045 and 4140 for all of them. All were professionally heat treated. All are centerfire and all are copies of the Remington rolling block. I may have the worlds only 30-06 roller. It was proofed at 85,000 PSI.

Now........ copying something as stupid simple as a rolling block doesn't take an overabundance of brainpower. When I look at your work I am in awe.

Keep us posted.

My website has a more detailed overview of the action and pricing ect ect.
Do you now have a "decent" turn around time now? I'm not seeing a firm time table for completion of a firearm on your web page.

I know in the past guys waited for years, and couldn't get the gun or their money back...

I think if you quote a time for completion and it's not done, you should give the option of returning the money...

I love your work, I just want to have a firm/reliable time period, for when I could expect the firearm for which I have ordered and put a down payment on...

Yes, I had some trouble with the first design of Falling block double rifles. I have slowly but surely whittled those old orders down and just have a handful left. Several are in process right now. I also did return several customers their money. Those struggles almost put me out of business. I've busted my ass to stay in business and have a product that I can build and deliver so those problems aren't repeated. That's where this action comes in.

For a single shot on this sidelever action, I can deliver a finished rifle in 18 months. An action only in 3 months.

That's really good news, glad you got by all those problems...

I was hoping you would make it, as you do have some really nice firearms...
