Ruger SR9 or SR9c Accuracy

Hello guys
I have an Sr 40 c and love it. I kid you not that it out shoots my Springfield XDM 40 at 10 yards.
I have a sig. P365 and a Springfield XDM compact 9. The XDM has a 3.8 inch barrel and basically feels and shoots like a full size pistol. Both are accurate and obviously the p365 is profoundly concealable and shockingly accurate for its tiny size.
Since the SR 40 c is so accurate I'm considering either an SR9C or SR9.
I can get a new SR9 delivered for 270.
Or SR9C delivered new for 293. So in the long run price difference is almost not a factor.
What I want to know is if the SR9 is fundamentally more Accurate and more Capable than the SR9C???
Or have you guys found the SR9C to be remarkably accurate for a compact just like I found the sr40c to be?
Any reason other than saving $23 that I should get the full size?
 
I have had an SR9c since 2013 and it's my best shooting semi auto. The trigger pull is amazing which helps with accuracy. I seem to remember hearing or reading that the trigger mechanism is slightly different between the full size and compacts, with the full size not as good..... But, I'm not positive about that
Personally, I shoot the 9c better with the 10 round magazines than with the long ones. I think it changes the ergonomics
 
To me, no matter what gun it is - I always shoot the bigger gun better. I've had tons of fullsize and sub compacts of the same platform - over the past 20+ years. The bigger gun is always more accurate, and I shoot it better at a longer distance. I think it is the longer sight radius. Others usually say the same thing.
 
I know that the longer sight radius argument makes sense but for some reason I don't think that's the case necessarily with the SR9 and sr40 versus the truly exceptional SR 9c and sr40c.
My sr40c shot better than my full size Springfield XDM even one with a 5.25 inch barrel. At least at 10 yards of did.

again does anyone have direct experience with this as I am seriously getting ready to buy either an SR9C or a regular SR9 either one in the duotone
 
Both the SR9 and SR9c will most likely have more accuracy potential than most shooters can get out of it.

So it's gonna depend on how you shoot each. Since you shoot the SR40c well, you'll probably shoot the SR9c just as well or better.

As others have stated, the SR9c is supposed to have a "slightly" better trigger than the SR full size so says the internet.

Owning 3 different SR9s in the past, I can say the triggers all got better the more recent they were made. So it might not really matter.

Just have the SR9c as I really didn't have a need for a full size 9mm. at the time. Have also heard that the trigger on the SR9c is slightly different (new and improved maybe) than the one on the SR9. All I can tell you is that the trigger on my SR9c has been great out of the box and the gun itself fits my smaller size hand perfectly.

thanks guys I may go ahead and give Ruger a call and see if they have anything to say about confirming a difference in the triggers.
As these guns are no longer being made I assume since they have replaced this model with the Ruger American or something or other I doubt the triggers are getting any better

If you check the current Ruger website you'll find that the whole SR family is once more available exclusively through Sports South Distributor.
