Only trade I ever regretted afterwards. I bought mine cheap and it was beat up. And traded for a gun I still have. But I kinda wish I still had it cuz it shot phenomenal for such an ugly previously abused revolver.

Why a LLama? Just get a decent 1911.

Replacements? Naw. Additions: a Colt .32 Auto 1903. An Astra m.400 1921.
Either or, preferably, both.

Yes, why a Llama? Even Taurus PT1911 is better all around.

Not a handgun. I sold a Savage 99 in .250/3000 to afford my last quarter at college. Just recently found one at guns show.

I'm pretty sure there is a "new llama" by Eagle Imports out of the Philippines

A Winchester Model 12 in sixteen gauge. It was my grandfather's but it went to a cousin. When I was a boy I could do no wrong with it.

Also, a Winchester bolt action .22lr. Can't recall the model number any more, but I seem to recall it had a five round magazine, and I believe the aperture sight was factory. Belonged to my other grandfather. First rifle I learned to shoot well. Went to a different cousin who later got messed up on drugs so I have no idea what became of it.

Traded a 30-06 Remington 760 for a Willy’s Jeep truck... Trucks long gone but my former buddy is still shooting deer with that rifle.

Nothing wrong with a Llama. I have a XI-C I bought new in 1994. Probably 10k rounds through it no problems. Still have and still shoot it.

Star model F 22LR and a Star Model "I" 32acp.

I just looked it up on Gun Broker they want $450.00 for Llamas. I wouldn't pay fifty bucks for a Llama.

Magazines are starting at fifty bucks

The first gun I ever bought myself was a Beretta 92FS, in 2002. Sold it in 2004 to pay closing costs on my house, and to get something smaller for CCW. I still miss it, it fit my hand perfectly, I shot it well, but, every time I have the money, I find something lighter, with more capacity or a bigger caliber, for less money. One of these days, though...

Ruger P90. My first auto and first brand new gun. Got stolen years ago. Gettin hard to find clean a clean one with the original grips now, and mags are scarce.

But if I stumble on the right one, its mine!

Oh, and an Armi Jager .22 M16 clone- hands down the most accurate rimfire semiauto Ive ever owned. Only sold it cuz the kids were hungry during the Big R.......

Id replace that in a heartbeat.

Wow, ditto for the most part. Miss my rusty dan wesson, i had 2 barrels (3"? Barrel and the 8"? Barrel) and i got it for like $250 but it was pitted and the longer barrel had an irregularity to it, the point of impact would move radially depending on the cylinder gap you set which was a problem because it was a fixed sight model. I could have gotten a new barrel set but was broke and didnt want to sink money into a $250 gun. Sold it back to the guy i bought it from for what i had paid... cause he missed it.
Only other gun i miss is a sig 1911 gsr i had pretty much when they started the U.S. production ( first run without the manhole cover on the slide). Loved that gun but it was getting a little beat up from holster wear and also the mountains of military surplus junk ammo i was feeding her. Had a buddy who assembled rifles for a local importer and back then it cost $25 per large shovel full of assorted mil-surp 45acp (some headstamped from the 40's) and like i said i was broke so that was so great. Traded that one off for $500 + a like new glock 21 with a decent holster + 200 rds . I did good on the trade but miss her.

In 1983 I bought my first handgun. I bought a Colt Combat Government for $317.00. I loved that gun. I shot lots of competitions with it. In 1988 we fell on very hard times and I sold it. I will never replace it, unless I win the lottery. Those guns are worth quite a bit today.

Another gun that I sold that I wish I wouldn’t have was a Glock 34 Gen 3. I sold it a few years ago to fund the purchase of a Smith&Wesson model 10. I am very happy with the model 10 but I will be replacing that G34 Gen 3 very soon.
That one I can afford

Honestly I don’t regret parting with any gun I’ve sold off or traded away, but I’ve never gotten rid of a gun due to financial hardship.

Any gun I ditched was ditched for a reason.

I'm the same way. I just looked at the list of guns I've sold/traded just to confirm, and nope, I don't want any of them back.

I was forced to sell off several firearms in 1990-91 due to a nasty divorce.
I have managed to replace some of them in the intervening years and add substantially to the overall total as well.
Sold and eventually replaced:
Remington 760 in .30/06
Sako L579 in .243
Ruger SuperRedHawk in.44Mag with 9-1/2" barrel...not replaced with an identical gun. Substituted a Dan Wesson .44Mag revolver
Browning A500 semiautomatic shotgun in 12ga...not replaced with an identical gun. Substituted with a Winchester 1400 in 12ga.
Remington 870 in 12ga...not replaced with an identical gun. Plan is to replace it with another semiautomatic 12ga shotgun.
Ithaca M37 in 12 ga...replaced with an identical shotgun.

I own more than 50 firearms from handguns to revolvers to shotguns, so anything that I haven't replaced is probably because it has been superceded by something else.

The only gun I ever really consider replacing is my Model 915 but I know that if I did it would just sit in my gun safe. I'd never carry it so it would never see any range time.

I bought my first firearm when I was 18. It was a Winchester mod 94. I have continued to add to my collection and still have every firearm I have ever purchased, including that mod 94. I'm 76 and still plan to add to my collection. New (to me) a Beretta Bobcat.

I think you're looking for a 69A. Bolt action .22 lr with a 5 round magazine, some came with factory peeps, others with simple leaf rear sights. They're phenomenal shooters.

+1 to the M12 16 gauge. I have one, and it'll be here until I'm gone. Love that gun.
