I have a CZ75B Single action only . Under the slide there is the ridge of steel that is used to scoop up the cartridges from the magazine. On the front edge of this area , the corners are kinda of milled off . Not very fine but just looks weird because its not even on both sides. I'll post a picture of mine. It's the long silver piece of steel in the middle. Can you CZ75 owners tell me if yours looks similar ?

Thanks guys and not to make you go through any trouble , but could you please post a picture of yours ? I am OCD and I'd like to see the other. It just seems weird that one side would be ground off more than the other .

Your photo looks identical to my slide. The chamfer on the edges of the disconnector rail are not cut evenly. That is intentional. The only portion of this rail,, by the way, that contacts the case is the forward portion that is the lower part of the breech face. The shiny portion in your pic, does not touch the cartridge in any way. Empty your piece and with a dummy round in place examine how this works closely for yourself. That is the only way an "OCD" person will be satisfied.

Study this animation:

I have two and they both look exactly like your photo.

No. I'm not going to the trouble of taking/posting pictures to satisfy your OCD. Besides, if I were willing to tell you that my guns look like yours even if they didn't, why wouldn't I also be willing to alter the photographs to continue the deception?

On the other hand, I am willing to do an internet search for images of CZ75B slides. Here's one picture I found:

Oh I have googled and searched and even seen that picture

6 so far that look like yours, plus a third party picture that is also asymmetric. So you're good now?

to satisfy your ocd itch. here's a pic of my cz 85 combat( 75 with ambi controls, adjustable sights and no firing pin block safety) 20190921_084123-600x1067.jpg

tercel89,

The other thing to get at is to ask what are the cut outs for? Why a chamfer (or bevels) on the edges there? Why the relief cuts on both sides of the central rail? That's where I was encouraging you to look closely at the gun.
